Overall a good stay and the hotel was pleasant.
The cold water dispenser by the elevators was helpful since it was summer.
Nice bed. Good amenities in the bathroom.
Plenty of TV channels.
Reception could be improved. We arrived to no welcome and had to begin the conversation with the reception and explain we wanted to check in. Absolutely no welcome and no smile. Just took our IDs without saying a word, gave us the key and explained the wifi.
The receptionist the next day was more helpful and pleasant, but calling it friendly or welcoming would be generous.
The room was a bit dated and worn. Clear signs of wear and light damage in the room. The decor of the hotel is quite bad, but that’s subjective taste I suppose.

It was almost close to everywhere I liked to visit
The room temperature was high. No matter how much I lower the AC, it didn’t work at all ! Were lucky that the weather get cold otherwise we were boiled like a chicken.

A good location for eu parliament work and a car park
The staff were really unhelpful and rude with the most basic of requests. We hired a conference room for work and it was really hot and bad

Very comfortable bed, excellent fitness room. Well located for visit to European Parliament and good public transport connections
Not a criticism per se but neighbourhood is pretty boring at night and weekend. And the pool was closed

The shower was the worst I ever had, even travelling to the most remote places in the world and staying in very simple hotels, the shower of Renaissance Brussels was unaccepetable. Almost no water coming out and the temperature was either too hot or too cold. Terrible shower experience. I asked them to solve but they didnt.
