The ONLY good thing is the location. Next to the Eurostar terminal.
The whole holiday was spoiled by the check-in staff name, Ms. Gift. We came in at 12 pm. upon arrival from Antwerp to keep our luggage and was advised to come back at 3 pm to check in as the room will be ready by then. After exploring the city and having lunch at the Grote Markt area, we returned at about 4 pm.To our disappointment, the room was not ready, and so happened one of our senior family member fell sick, having fever and purging. I then asked the reception lady Ms Kitsia approximately how long to wait. She then called her colleague Ms Gift to assist. I was shocked with her rude customer service. She raised her voice, saying she saw me come in the morning, then at 12 pm, again at 1 pm, then again at 2 pm. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CCTV, I came in only once at 12 pm!
And she has the cheek to say this Pullman Hotel here check-in policy is after 3pm, it doesn't mean if you come in after 3 pm it will be ready. It can be 4 pm or 5 pm!!!
She then gave me my key to the room. Again, to my disappointment, the family room for 4 adults is not ready. The family room sofa bed is not made, no bedsheets, no pillows. Only 2 towels, 1 cup, 2 saucer plates, and 2 tetra packs of complimentary water in the refrigerator.
The counter staff then put the blame to the housekeeping department. That is how they solve the issue in front of their guests. Poor inter-department communication and coordination!
I asked for the manager on duty, Ms. Esther and I were told that she too is sick and sleeping at home, and there is no one else to look into this matter.
WHAT A POOR MANAGEMENT OF THIS HOTEL.

This morning during check-out, Manager Esther is around and knows about the unpleasant check-in, and we are happy with her way of handling the issue with compensation. We hope such an issue won't happen again on other guests next time. And Ms Gift to go back for further customer service training.

The breakfast should be improved including the display. For example there were two bottles of milk with no indication of the kind of milk
The shower faucets were very hard to turn. I had to call the hotel staff to turn on the water. The bottle of soap/shower gel was blocked..

Perfect location. Stayed at Pullman a few times. It always is excellent - the view, comfort, cleanliness and staff. Best place to stay in Brussels, especially if you like trains.
