NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg is very near the Galleries passage and not far from the Central railway station either. I stayed there two nights following my two night stay couple days earlier. On the first stay I got a very nice room from the 4th floor but on this second stay the room (also 4th floor) was a little smaller and older. Also on the first stay there was a surprise breakfast provided and it was very good. However, this was not offered on the second stay. The first stay was booked directly from the hotel. Rooms were warm and quiet enough.
Rooms have this (clever?) swing door that closes either the bedroom or the bath room. So during the night one can block the possible corridor noise with two doors, which is a plus of course. However the drawback is that the swing door also blocks entering the bathroom, it gets in the way, and is as such a little annoying.
Room(s) had coffee machine and coffee for two cups, also there was a water bottle and piece of chocolate for guests. Also note that if you don't need room service / cleaning, just put a sign (get one from reception) on the door handle and in return it'll allows you to have complimentary drink from the reception, such as a soft drink or a beer. Cleaning personnel slip the voucher for the drink under the room door.
During my stay there was a strike and it was uncertain whether there were trains leaving to airport or not, and on which station. I was prepared to use Bolt, but at reception the very competent personnel found several trains for me, when I presented my problem. Many thanks for the help, I truly appreciate it.
All in all, very good stay, very helpful and competent personnel, thank you.
Apparently some rooms could use renovation, for instance one power socket was not properly attached to wall.

Location fairly central to several key spots- a short walk from Centraal station and slightly longer walk to high street and Grand Place. Sightseeing options in all directions.
Comfy bed with lots of pillow options!
Tea and coffee facilities in room. Various glasses and cups including wine glasses and espresso cups.
Good breakfast!
Late checkout- up to 12:00.
Luggage storage- very secure with staff storing bags with a numbered tag system. Felt very safe leaving backpack without a lock!
Staff were friendly.
Bathroom- there was an odour coming out of the drains i believe on mornings, had to open the window to air the room out. Drains also very slow flowing.
No room service although stated- room service was for breakfast and carried an extra charge.
Refrigerator in room but was not plugged in and required moving the whole unit to find the outlet so could not use. Could have asked staff to do this but was more hassle than it was worth. There was an option to have it (minibar) stocked, but again, more hassle than it was worth.
Online check-in also did not work for me so could not choose my room prior to arrival.
