The location was excellent, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the entire space smelled fresh and well-maintained. The hotel had a stylish, inviting atmosphere that made us feel at ease.
The windows weren’t double glazed, so nighttime noise was disruptive, not great for a goodnight sleep..
We were woken by shouting on both nights.
I had also requested a bottle of prosecco before arrival, but it wasn’t delivered until we followed up late in the evening around 10:30pm. The rooftop bar was understaffed, which led to long waits.

We stayed Thursday to Sunday. 4th-7th Dec 2025 .
On the Friday evening my friend and I came home from a day trip to Brugge to find we had no electricity in the room specifically no lights! Rang reception and was told there was no one was available to pop up and see what the issue, they couldn’t move us as fully booked and as she was on her own they couldn’t help us till the morning!!! So we were left all night with no lighting in our room. So trying to shower and get changed for bed in the dark was dreadful. Woke up Saturday to find still no lights, upon trying to shower, I notice the water was freezing cold, I spoke to reception who said the whole hotel had no hot water!! They were getting maintenance to try to fix it, they were hoping to get it sorted by end of the day (Saturday) so returning home that evening the water tried to shower, the water was barely tepid. so I spoke to reception about it again she assured us the water was warm but there were no managers at the weekend and they would pass on our complaints. Alarmingly whilst waiting at reception another couple was checking in, the hotel failed to mention to them about the hot water issues!

The rooms are very well equipped. The bedding is comfortable and the pillows are pleasant. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a small refrigerator, as well as an iron. We had a very comfortable stay.
The only drawback is that there is almost no daylight in the rooms facing the courtyard.

Location excellent, hotel had all required facilities and all aspects for Christmas markets within walking distance. Jonathan from Guest Relations recommendations for things to do within the city were excellent and very helpful. All staff very helpful and friendly.

Disappointing
The location is pretty good right at the center of Brussels. However it is extremely overprieced!!!! Not even location justifies the price. But specially the state of the rooms, not updated since who knows when...
I was extremely surprised and astonished about the condition of the room. For paying almost 300 euros per night I got a non updated room from so long that was like traveling to the past but not in a nice way. The bathroom was even worse, could be my grandmother one. And fundamentally, a deeply sense of impersonal and non-cozy, non-invited and coldness was totally impregnated in the aesthetics of the room. So not a good feeling, not a good experience, not comfortable either. Views of ceilings from outside was ok for me, I enjoyed that. Regarding breakfast, I read very very good reviews about it so probably my expectations together with the price per night of the hotel were high. But I didn't find the breakfast so spectacular. I missed consistent quality and high nutritive ingredients for breakfast instead of conventional non healthy stuff. I enjoyed the fresh orange juice and the good quality fresh leaves teas.
Regarding to the gym, I was also negatively surprised. The gym was not part of the hotel but a shared basic-fit gym where hotel clients could also go in. So a very low average gym machines and experience... Would definitely not stay never more in this hotel when in Brussels.
The hotel looks for giving the right impression at the lobby with some touches of decoration but has total negligence in the state of the rooms, the most important logistic and service for the clients. And definitely not correlated with the price and expectations.
