Disappointing
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant.
The rooms were outdated and seemed tired. There were renovations happening on our floor, which we hadnt expected. Workmen were in the building from 3-4am on the Friday and Saturday night which disrupted our sleep multiple times.

Disappointing
Excellent location, close to train station and restaurants. Breakfast was very good.
Musty smell in room and dirty walls. Toiletries almost empty. Hair dryer kept overheating, stops working after several minutes of use.

easy to connect WIFI, very convenient location.
It was cold at night, we turned the wind to maximum and turned the temperature control knob to 30, but it was still cold, and couldn't figure out why

The rooms are old and not clean. The corridor flours had large dirt stains. Broken bed .

the location was famtastic
The hotel is old and has not been maintained. It is dark and dingy even in the rooms. Paint is chipping everywhere - eg every room door on the 6th (top) floor where we stayed. Cleaning is poor - carpets not vacuumed well, tile in bathroom not cleaned well. TV wasnt working and when I reported it around 3pm I was told maintenance had left for the day! More generally, the hotel is not set up for 21st century travelers - for example No plug points by the bed and no usb chargers. Very disappointing. This is billed as a 4 star hotel. I am not sure how that designation was given. Maybe 2 or 3 is more appropriate. Fortunately we only stayed 2 nights. Will definitely find another hotel if I return to Brussels.

Very central
No family rooms so 2 twin rooms. Receptionist on arrival seemed put out that we requested rooms next to each other as 2 children. Dark rooms at front of property on first floor. Dirty in corners and dust on walls.
One had a French door onto balcony that was not shut properly and could not open it either. Reported to reception. Told someone would look at it. Never happened. Therefore that room was noisy and cold as wind blowing through the door gap.
Breakfast good.
Tea and coffee not restocked in bedroom. Hairdryer worked for a minute or 2 before cutting out.
Shower Water in one bathroom much cooler and poor drainage. Stand in ankle deep water as so slow to drain.
