Absolutely terrible – nowhere near a 3-star hotel
The hotel is in a truly shocking condition. From the moment you enter the property, you are greeted by a large amount of rubbish scattered around the entrance. The entire hotel looks neglected and run-down. The carpets are absolutely filthy, the lift is covered in graffiti, and even around the drinking-water tank there were dirty rags simply lying around.
The bathroom was horrifying. The towel was damaged, and the shower enclosure had huge cracks in it. On the bathroom door there was a substance that looked disturbingly like bodily fluids or faeces. This is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one advertised as a 3-star property.
And the bedding was no better. The duvet cover had been put on inside out, and the seams were literally torn apart.
We stayed because it was already nighttime and we were in a foreign country. We had no desire to start looking for another hotel in the middle of the night. But honestly, this was an absolutely dreadful experience.
I genuinely cannot understand how Booking.com allows a hotel in this condition to be advertised as a three-star hotel. The reality is nowhere near that standard. This place feels more like a neglected, cheap roadside property than a 3-star hotel.
Horrible, dirty and seriously disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Free parking was available on site and paid parking at the back as backup, petrol station right next door. Air con was essential in such hot weather. Staff very friendly and accommodating as I asked them to freeze my ice packs overnight which wasn't an issue. We didn't pay for breakfast. Location was good to get onto motorway quickly the next day.
The hotel needs upgrading, it looks like army barracks with bare minimum in the room. No tea or coffee facilities or water in the room. Pillows were terrible, luckily I had one of my own so my partner could have 2 and I used the spare one with my own pillow. For over £100 a night I'd expect a tad better overall.

The cleaning lady entered my room without knocking at 8am. Also, some of my personal belongings were tampered with (La Mer facial lotion was reduced to half its content).

Like many ibis, this is fairly budget hotel. However, the staff were very pleasant.
Room was clean and bed was comfy. I would say that this is a hotel for a short stop if passing through the area.
It is a 10-15 minute walk to a metro stop that can be taken to Brussels centre.
Breakfast (18 euro) is quite overpriced but that is typical for hotels.
There isn't much around the hotel but I suppose it is a good location for the expo.

Disappointing
Convenient location for Atomium, main reason for booking this hotel. And we could park the car.
Breakfast was OK.
The rooms look out dated and shabby. The communal areas needed improvement. Carpets were very dirty and badly stained in numerous areas. The hotel generally looks tired.
