Friendly Staff, very clean and neat room, new furniture , clean bathroom, Ac, a very very good room
The hotel is a 10-15 minutes walking to the train station which is not good if you have bags but it has nothing to do with the hotel... The hotel itself is very good we loved it there

The location, not far from Gare du Midi. Comfortable beds Very nice breakfast lady and night receptionist Two very nice gentlemen at the reception who help find a solution for the AC.
Some works were being done so noise one morning when I wanted to sleep. Room phone was not working because no plug. No restaurant/room service

Their Air Condition system works 1 hour & 1 hour it swithes off. Complained to hotel reception & they said the system is set up like this....i had to request a padestal fan in the middle of the night.....it was hot in Brussels

This is a hotel that was quite luxurious at a point but has possibly fallen on harder times. Air conditioning was rationed to rotate by floor. A lift was broken. Dated shower controls in a tub. No water glass in bathroom. The room, hallways, reception were all clean and well kept but larger expenses and upgrades may be getting delayed. The area is borderline unsafe towards Midi/Zuid train station; a bit better towards Centraal station. Take a taxi to the hotel and don’t expect to stroll nearby.

nothing worked, A/C,wifi,TV,refrigerator and phone did not work. The room was hotter than an oven, worst night of my trip checked out in the morning and checked into the Pullman very nice!

Nice facilities, comfortable bed, large room
But no control over air conditioning. The room was exceptionally hot and stuffy ( the A/C thermostat showed 29 Celcius). I asked at front desk to help with the A/C and was told the entire hotel was centrally controlled with no individual room control. The AC would come on for about 20 minutes every 3 hours or so. Not enough to cool the room on a hot day. Uncomfortable sleep because of this.

The location was good, the staff good, the breakfast fine.
At the moment the hotel is being renovated, this limited some of the facilities, although these are being finished soon so should not be a problem shortly.
