Great location, right across the street from Brussels Midi railway station. Dropped off bags as we arrived by train before check in time, and walked to the center of Brussels, which took about 25 mins.

Walking distance from city center and amenities. Great breakfast spread. Comfortable and pet friendly. Just across the international train station (Brussels Midi)
Located in part of town where homeless and drunks are camped around their “front driveway” smells like urine and lots of trash. The parking system. Car Lift was inaccessible for several hours (from 9 to around 3pm) because someone left their car there and went on vacation. It wasn’t hotel’s fault though and it happened on a Sunday. We’re lucky we didn’t have a flight to catch or a rental to drop off, but those who get their car out of parking and went over the 24-hr limit would have had to pay another day’s worth of parking.

Neighborhood and entrance to hotel isn’t very nice. My room cost extra because of a courtyard view. But view was dismal and only one window in a room that was not well lit.

I liked everything!! I was afraid bcz in the comments they were saying the area is dangerous but i saw the total opposite… it was very safe! Also the room was perfectly air conditioned. Everything was perfect in my stay. I also loved that the hotel had a water dispenser where we could refill our bottles.

Мы были 28 августа 2026 года. Гостиница понравилась, все продумано, большой уютный номер, все что нужно есть, удобная постель , много подушек, в ванной есть все средства для мытья. Хороший завтрак с большим выбором продуктов, было достаточно свободно, толкаться в очереди не пришлось. Месторасположение удобное рядом с южным вокзалом.
Близость к вокзалу вероятно сказалась на чистоте улиц вокруг, но это уже причина не зависящая от гостиницы.

Staff on the bar were very friendly. Location is good for transportation in/out of brussels and to Brussels expo, but the area isn't that great.
Liked the cold water tap (still or sparkling) on the entrance.
Avoid using the online check-in to pay. It looked like that the payment failed and didn't continue/complete, but the payment had actually gone through. So, I had to ask them to refund the additional payment.
However, I also needed to handle communication with their accounting department (sending an email with proof). My expectation was that the staff on the reception / hotel manager to be able to handle that without requiring a chore from my said.
Finally, if I hadn't noticed it myself, I would have paid 3 times? (paid twice online because I re-tried)
It seems possible that they are double-charging because of this, not intentionally, but without noticing it.

The room was a decent size, clean and pleasant. Location was good for access to major train station but not in a nice area. Breakfast was basic.
The service was minimal and unreliable. We had a faulty television and, although we requested repairs several times, no-one ever came to fix it. Our safe broke on the third day of our four day stay and although we asked for it to be fixed no-one came to do so. Breakfast was uninspiring and the gluten free options were few and without flavour.

It's just out of the door and directly across the street from Brussels Midi train station. The room was clean, well air-conditioned, and quiet.
The television wasn't working correctly and there was an important World Cup game on that I really wanted to watch.

While the location is directly opposite Brussels Midi station, that is where the positives end. We chose this hotel for its proximity to our early morning trains, but the surrounding neighborhood felt entirely unsafe at night, with rampant public intoxication, fighting, and homelessness.

The hotel itself is poorly marked and accessed through an confusing courtyard entrance. Upon arrival, it was clear the property is grossly understaffed. The receptionist, Mario, was cold, avoided eye contact, and showed zero hospitality. In contrast, the F&B staff were friendly and engaging.
We were assigned a boiling hot room. Hoping it just needed time to cool, we left for lunch and sightseeing, keeping a third key card in the slot to keep the AC running. We returned three hours later to a sauna. Getting through to reception took three attempts. When Mario finally answered, he gave us a bizarre excuse about a motion sensor that turns off the AC (a flawed logic for a hotel room where guests sleep). He told us to wait 20 minutes.
Nothing changed. After waiting 40 minutes, we called again. No answer. I went down to the lobby, where Mario immediately became defensive, complaining that he was too busy, had only started two weeks ago without a contract, and "didn't need this job."
When I requested a room change, his attitude worsened. He refused to issue a new key until we packed everything and came back down. Once downstairs, he was curt, aggressive, and openly stated he had seven other AC complaints, yet refused to guarantee our new room would have functioning climate control. When I asked for the General Manager’s name, schedule, or business card, he flatly refused to cooperate and told us to check out if we weren't happy.
Faced with pure unadulterated rage from a staff member just for expecting a working AC in a €240/night room, we took his advice. We canceled, got a refund, sat in the courtyard, and booked another hotel up the road.
