The location was perfectly situated near the Brussels Central station, walking distance to nearly everything and making it so simple to get to and from the airport and for day trips to nearby towns like Mechelen, Antwerp, and Ghent. The room was very quiet given the vibrancy of the neighborhood. Hotel staff, from breakfast server to front desk to housekeeping were courteous, professional, and warm. Breakfast was delightful. The hotel history made it an extra special place to stay.
I would have to think hard about anything I didn’t like. The only inconvenience I encountered would be the staircase in the suite which was narrow and tight. I was fine and managed without effort but I imagine it would be hard on someone with mobility issues given the bedroom and bath were both upstairs. I only slipped once.

Room was really big, comfy bed (not too soft) and good blanket. Bath + restroom separated. Inner courtyard room, very quite, windows openable for fresh air. Might be my new favourite stay in Brussels!
As it's old house, its wooden floor was "noizy". Did not bother me at all, but just to note if someone has light sleep & partner is a sleepwalker. :D

I really liked the spacious room and extra little seating area. The bed was very comfortable and the rest of the hotel looked really nice.
The only thing that I really didn't like was that the floor in the room was very squeaky. I really hope I didn't bother anyone below me as I was up until quite late!

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and within easy reach of the main parts of the city. We stayed for just one night as a stopover before flying out of Brussels. The stay was comfortable overall. While the hotel appears a little dated, it is functional and serves its purpose well. One of the biggest advantages is the location—we were able to return to the hotel to drop off our shopping before heading out again for dinner, which made things very convenient.
