Fantastic location, beautiful antiquities decor in a historic building. Bed was very comfortable.
Lacking in amenities for the price (at least €220+ a night). Little things like a daily free carafe of water would cost almost nothing but make a difference (had to pay €4 for a glass of water). Or updating the coffee (ie. a Nespresso over the instant coffee packs) would really make a big difference.
Maybe it was just our room but it hasn’t been updated in decades (hair dryer from the 80s). WiFi also wasn’t strong in the back of the hotel.

What a gorgeous property! So convenient to walk from the Brussels Centrale train station using the Madelaine Exit- barely a block away.
The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and professional. He made us feel so welcome. We arrived before normal check-in, so left out luggage while we explored. The city center/Grand Place was convenient for walking.
Upon returning after 3pm, we were pleasantly surprised when told our bags were waiting in the room.
The room we booked was impeccable! Clean, updated and so beautiful! If only we stayed longer! The bathroom was large with double sinks and more room than we needed for toiletries. The walk-in shower was larger than most. The toilet was in a separate room.
Storage was plentiful with 3 closets plus drawers, even a minibar/fridge.
The bed was extremely comfortable, with nightstands on both sides with outlets.
The breakfast area was extremely large, offering privacy, and the offerings were plentiful-eggs, sausage, cheeses, meats, fruits and veggies, yogurt and rolls. This was truly a gem of a hotel!

It’s a beautiful hotel steps away from everything but very quiet and relaxing. The suite was spacious and well appointed- they thought of everything. Would absolutely stay there again. Lovely!

Very Good
Beautiful reception, lounge and breakfast area. Beds very comfortable. Immaculate bedroom and bathroom. Lots of space. Great location for Bruxelles Centraal and Grand Place.
Although very well placed for Bruxelles Centraal station (100m stroll) and it's a beautiful building - the area surrounding this oasis feels a bit scuzzy.

Near the station and square
The suites are weird, i think buildings that have been converted to hotels are all like this.

Good
Well located and historic feel to establishment.
The staff at reception were not pleasant and borderline rude. When we arrived we found out there was 15 steps to go up to our room and no one to help us with our luggage. We asked to be changed rooms and that seemed to annoy them. We explained we were not aware and they said that’s what happens when you book through a third party like Booking!!

The hotel is located near the main square (Grote Markt) and there is a significant amount of tourists and traffic. The hotel is located just a short walk from the this busy area, but the facility was very quiet and a sanctuary of sorts from the activity nearby. The staff were gracious and accommodating. Would certainly book again if in the area.
We have no complaints.

The location was great, in the center of Brussels but peaceful and quiet inside. The room was very comfortable too, spacious and beautiful, and the AC worked great during a very hot weekend. Metro/train station was also quite close We did not try the breakfast.
Nothing really
