The bathrooms were clean.
The room’s decor and furniture was dated and needed updating. Hair dryer in the bathroom not working. Drinking water was charged at €7 for a bottle. Hotel provides only 2 small bottles (330 ml) of water per day for two guests. This was not sufficient. We had to go out to buy water. Not expected at this price point (high room charge) Tea / Coffee / Creamer not stocked sufficiently. One teabag in the room and when we asked for more, we were told that hotel will charge €7 to bring the tea bags to the room.

Convenience of distance, blackout curtains, valet, air conditioning that runs even when the key isn’t in!!!!
The room could have been slightly cleaner, there were some weird stains and I found an old cigar on the floor…

The room was big and sufficiently clean. Connection of my phone was not working, but the free WiFi worked well.
Honestly this is not a 5 star hotel, not in a million years. Facilities are extremely old, rooms are probably amongst the oldest I have ever been. Maybe this was a 5 star hotel many years ago, but now it is more in the range of 3. Way too expensive for the service you get, unfortunately. I suggest an urgent renovation (or at least new look).

Great hotel in a great location, particularly as the renovation of Châtelain is now complete. Good transport links from Bailli. Comfortable and spacious room with good amenities. Great bed. Friendly and helpful staff. All in all an excellent short stay.
Fitness centre was undergoing renovation, making access trickier and more limited - staff were still helpful about it.
