Wonderful
This hotel needs more recognition. A really great value and clean hotel. Yes, the location is not the best, but honestly during my 5 days stay no one has bothered me on the street around the hotel.
The room is clean, spacious and comfortable, they got great bathroom products, the staff is nice, and the room and lobby decor is really nice.

Disappointing
Hotel is ok, lobby is a nice place to sit, staff are friendly (mainly), the room was lovely and clean. big enough for 3 of us. Really good shower. Wifi great. Check-in was easy, breakfast selection is quite good. Information available in the lobby was good... I particularly liked the sandwich toaster at breakfast...don't see that very often.
Lemmonier Metro station is about 100 metres away, and Midi train station is about 10 minute walk.
L'Accordeon bar across the street. Go have a beer with the Burundians.
Hotel
1.) Aircon is set to heat mode
2.) Breakfast staff were a bit miserable, but that isn't really a problem.
3.) There is no bar.
Non-Hotel
1.) Lots of Civil Engineering building work going on in this area at the moment, but that is a temporary issue.
2.)There are a lot of people on the streets day and night, and there is a lot of litter (Nappies, soiled clothing, empty beer cans etc)
3.) It can be quite intimidating at night.
If you must stay in this area then this hotel is fine, but I urge you to stay in a different area of Brussels, nowhere near Midi/Zuid station, as Brussels city council have let this area go to ruin. Shame on them.

The location was excellent. There is a tram station just 2-3 min walk away. The Brussels Midi train station was also a 5-min walk away, where you can catch a train to Bruges. The breakfast was good, room was just nice, we had everything we needed.
The beds were spring beds and weren't comfortable for us.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very kind and quick to help with the TV and baby bed. The breakfast was very good, everything was neat and elegant. The hotel, restaurant, and room décor were beautiful. The location is okay, about a 10–13 minute walk from the Grand Place. The only problem is that there’s no parking at the hotel, so we had to park about 650 meters away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel!

I like the almost central location, cozy design, and spacious rooms for one person, the NUXE hotel's cosmetics provided. I also like the open space downstairs where we could cowork if needed with my colleague. Oh and I LOVED the green bathroom tiles. :)
The cleanliness was at a very good level, but it could have been a bit better in terms of the attention to details – to be specific, everything was perfect except the window parapet, which had cigarette ashes on it (clearly someone smoked through the window in the room, even if it's prohibited, I even saw cigarettes on the outside parapet) and this wasn't cleaned up. I also didn't like the room (209) didn't have enough daylight, and you couldn't open the window fully, which made the room difficult to refresh with some air, and it was usually too warm inside. The hotel could also use a washing machine so that you don't need to go to the laundry, and include an ironing machine in every room.

The area was suppperr trashy. Homeless people everywhere. Someone was peeing I’m a statue when we walked out with our kids. Trash over flowing the trash cans.

The breakfast
The area that the hotel is in is not very nice at all. In the photos it looks like a nice square in front of the hotel but in reality it is dirty, there is litter everywhere, dodgy types of people sitting drinking alcohol. Didn’t feel safe at night.
The air conditioning could not be used on cool or even just on fan. It was set to heat only. And the day time temperatures were in the high 20’s . The afternoon/ night staff were not very helpful about this.
We could not open a window properly to get fresh air in.
We could not get ice even though it is “ advertised “ as being available on the in room tablet thing

Everything....except the location. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything you need for a stay- shampoo, towels, coffee/tea, etc.
The location- its located on a very noisy road (they give out complementary ear plugs) and in an area of town where I didnt feel comfortable walking around alone.

Pleasant
Location: Just a 5-minute walk from Brussels’s mid train station.
At night, the location is quite unsettling. Although nothing untoward happened, it still gives me the creeps. The TV never worked, and I had to sleep with the screen on because I couldn’t turn it off or change the channel. Sometimes, the temperature got too high, and I couldn’t control the AC.
