Rooms are clean and functional. The bathroom was bigger than expected. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks!
The area around the hotel is, unfortunately, not great. It is very dirty on the streets and strange people are lingering around.

Very Good
Dirty and strange surroundings, strange people hanging around on the street, trash everywhere around on the street in late evening time. In the morning a little bit better, partly cleaned already.
But hotel is ok.

Very Good
Nice bedroom, with pretty decent WC. Fairly comfortable bed and pillows. Delicious breakfast options.
There could be more diversified pillow options to match my preference. Breakfast could have more options.

Exceptional
Location is good, very close to public transport, but also a 15 min walk to the central area of Brussels. Located about a 5-minute walk from Brussels Midi train station. Very cute and affordable. Would definitely recommend.

Very Good
I like the almost central location, cozy design, and spacious rooms for one person, the NUXE hotel's cosmetics provided. I also like the open space downstairs where we could cowork if needed with my colleague. Oh and I LOVED the green bathroom tiles. :)
The cleanliness was at a very good level, but it could have been a bit better in terms of the attention to details – to be specific, everything was perfect except the window parapet, which had cigarette ashes on it (clearly someone smoked through the window in the room, even if it's prohibited, I even saw cigarettes on the outside parapet) and this wasn't cleaned up. I also didn't like the room (209) didn't have enough daylight, and you couldn't open the window fully, which made the room difficult to refresh with some air, and it was usually too warm inside. The hotel could also use a washing machine so that you don't need to go to the laundry, and include an ironing machine in every room.

Disappointing
This was booked for proximity to the train station for ease but there was so much construction going on that we had to change walking route a couple times just to get there. The surrounding area was dirty and seemed like a third world country with trash, homeless, and the smells just walking to the location.
Upon arrival there were some concerns that I accept could likely not have been prevented like an elevator that wasn't working and some plumbing issue that had been going on for some time as heard from other guests. The plumbing did not get fixed until late that evening around 7pm and the elevator worked the next morning. There was never any offer for other accommodations or assistance finding somewhere else to stay or any type of compensation, just a "sorry for any inconvenience".

Beautiful, clean and modern hotel with lovely decor. Massive sized room for a family of four and proper sized beds, not sofa beds for the second bed.

The room was a good layout for 3. Clean and newly renovated. Good location for convenience. Lobby chocolates and bag storage was good.
The surrounding area had a lot of trash and felt sketchy. Staff was not terribly friendly. Not many good coffee shops or dining options in immediate area.

Wonderful
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the room facilities were top-notch. Everything about the physical stay was perfect.
However, I had a confusing experience on New Year’s Eve. We returned to the hotel before midnight to enjoy a quiet glass of prosecco in the lobby. Suddenly, a member of the team (possibly security or reception) turned the music up so loud we could no longer hear each other speak. This was followed by blue smoke and loud noises (similar to firecrackers) inside the lobby. It felt quite overwhelming and a little bit scary rather than celebratory.

nice clean hotel, then environment outside isn't that clean, but has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
Close to the center Brussel
the dirty street environment outside.

The hotel is a gem. Comfy room, great interior! The staff were nice.
The location ruined it! It's in a pretty sketchy area :( so just be extra careful. Lots of homeless/drunk people outside. But inside the hotel was ok.
