Very Poor
I stayed in this hotel many times before, and the breakfast was always simply included. It seems like they changed their policy and now they are charging extra for it. Which is ok. BUT. When I booked my stay I had to book in a rush. So, I did not notice that now the hotel have changed this and has option to book a room with breakfast and without, I just clicked on the first option and paid for my stay. At check-in, which was done in less than 2 minutes, I was not asked if I need breakfast with my stay because they see in my booking that I didn't book it (standard practice in all decent hotels!). All other hotels' reception staff ask this at check-in, to make sure. Staff didn't ask, and they didn't provide any information about the hotel either. Nothing, just searched for my booking and gave the key - and no smile or kindness from the reception person at all either. I already stayed here many times, so i didnt need information anyways. However, in the morning, I went to the breakfast area - still noone asks me anything when I entered - I got a coffee and some food and sat down at a table. Before the first bite, someone comes to me and asks for some "breakfast card" - from what I understood... because she didnt speak any english. So i pushed the plate and coffee away and just left. I lost all the appetite in that hotel and all my mood there and for the rest of the day and my stay. I stood up, went outside to have a breakfast instead. Now. It's not that I cant afford a few extra €s, it's the treatment how it was all handled.
Please EDUCATE your staff to speak english with your guests. Please also educate your reception staff to tell ALL information at check in and ASK the guests if they want breakfast added to their booking so the guests know (especially if your hotel offered it included for many years) And please educate your staff about the hospitality industry and to be guest-centered!!!

Close to the metro
The hotel is on a busy street so it gets noisy. The whole building needs renovating (elevators, staircases, doors, rooms). The ironing room was just disgusting. I am so happy I saw the sign on the wall and check the iron. It was okay for one night but I would not recommend the place.

The hotel is in a perfect location, just steps away from the Grand Place, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the room was serviced daily.
The reception staff were not particularly welcoming, which didn’t create a positive first impression. The hallway carpets appeared old and had an unpleasant odor. We experienced repeated issues with the room key card, which frequently failed to work properly. The room was rather dark, and when we requested additional lighting, we were informed that it could only be addressed the following day.

Nothing, other than the location
Apart from its location, I found nothing about this hotel to be up to standard. Paying such a huge price for a room that fell below the minimum standard was a terrible experience. I do not recommend staying there.
The room was very small, old, and unclean. It felt congested, lacked proper ventilation, had a dirty carpet, and an uncomfortable bed. They did not even provide proper pillows on the bed, only two cushions. Despite several requests, they claimed they could do nothing, and ultimately, they only provided one pillow.
The breakfast had very limited options, with no fresh food or fresh fruit. Furthermore, the quality of the limited available options was also not very good. The Wi-Fi connection was also very poor.
We tried to communicate with reception several times about a better room or a pillow, and each time the answer was, "This is what we have. Sorry, we can't do any better or we have nothing to do about it."
The price was extremely high and, compared to the property, completely unrealistic and unacceptable. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

Exceptional
I really enjoyed my stay at Floris Arlequin Grand Place Hotel. The location is unbeatable — just steps away from the Grand Place and all the main attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day exploring the city.
Overall, a great experience — I would definitely stay here again.

Bad experience. Ugly, run down room, painting peeling from the wall, disgusting stained carpet, roon in the basement with tiny windows on the level of an internal courtyard. Extremely uncomfortable, soft bed. It was a scam. I booked it last minute after the property i initially booked never answered, the run down dirty basement room I got looked NOTHING like the picture in the app.

Water and pastries at the reception as a plus.
The hotel has a gym.
The elevator is too small and the stairs are not easy to understand.
