Modern bathroom. Very clean overall. Staff lovely.
Street noise all night. While clean and cared for, the hotel was shabby and dull. Room amenities very basic.

There was very loud construction going on inside the hotel all day long, it was so so loud!
Elevator broke down. No assistance in bringing bags down.

The location is the best part. Very close to the Grand Palace, shopping district and restaurants
Hotel is under renovation. Only one elevator which keeps breaking down. The central air conditioning works only between June-July. Hence if you are staying during other months, they give you a table fan. The heat can get unbearable

The advertised air conditioning was not working, which was a real issue, as a heat wave hit Brussels during my stay
The hotel is undergoing a reconstruction. I had construction workers working literally in front of my window - with open flame - thus not only was the air conditioning not working, but using the window was of no help as well.
A request for a room change was declined by the staff

There were building works going on between 9 am and 5 pm, with drilling and banging. The air conditioning not working on a 32 degree day. An alarm went of and a barrier door shut us in by the lift. We didnt stay in the hotel but only got 12 euros back.

Only the location.
The staff particularly one of them was extremely rude and I felt extremely unsafe, the whole hotel is under renovation, with paint fumes and construction dust. The rooms are dirty, the carpets are extremely dirty, no proper pillows. There’s no kettle. The lift also broke down, and we had to walk up and down 5 floors, the stair case had lots of construction material everywhere, very poor condition and hazardous

The hotel is at the center of Brussels. A lot of sightseeing are very close to it. Breakfasts are tasty. Stuff is very friendly. We were allowed to stay with our dog.

Very noisy. Due to ongoing construction at the property, it’s very noisy. Elevators not working properly. Washroom latch was broken.
