They offered to keep our bags but it wasnt that secure because anyone can just get in and out.
1. The room is so warm. It didnt have cold AC. It was blowing hot air. There was a window but barely any air. It was suffocating. 2. The water from the shower was either super cold or super hot. In principle it should mix but no it doesnt. When you krank the hot faucet, it gives hot water and when you want it less hot, technically you can turn the other cold faucet but it doesnt work that way. It just now spits cold water. It was frustrating. 3. There was still construction.

I can understand that the hotel is undergoing partial renovation, but in any case, it was not a comfortable stay: It is a hotel primarily for business travelers, given its proximity to the financial district and the large North Station; yet, despite this, the south-facing rooms had no Wi-Fi signal (it is 2026, after all—installing a repeater would be simple enough). My room (205) had a renovated sleeping area, but the bathroom hadn't been updated: the shower grout and silicone seals were brown and black—disgusting. The Mercure has only one small elevator, which is also used by the housekeeping staff; more than once, I waited nearly 10 minutes before finally giving up. The breakfast consists almost entirely of ready-made and pre-cooked food.

Everything went without any complications. The staff was helpful, the hotel was nice and clean. It has a very good location in terms of transportation.
The air conditioning was a bit loud, but to be fair, I didn't mention it to the staff.

Non-functional Air Conditioning: The AC was broken for the duration of my stay. Despite reporting this to the reception four times, the problem remained unresolved, resulting in an uncomfortable and substandard living environment. ​Inadequate Bathroom Lighting: There were only two lights working in the bathroom, which did not provide enough lighting. This made the bathroom dark and difficult to use safely. ​Failure of Housekeeping: The towels were never changed or replaced for the duration of my entire trip, which is completely unacceptable for a property of this standard.

Location was perfect. AC availability was a big plus during heat wave. Breakfast was nice. Staff was helpful.
There is an ongoing renovation. The construction affects the first floor. It seems the rooms in first floor are partially renovated. The first room offered had a foul smell and AC was not operational but hotel staff promptly moved me as per my compliant. Likely renovation will be over within few months.

Interesting hotel with potential. Nice lobby and bar, friendly staff, excellent location, and good free coffee all day.
It's an interesting hotel, but it was in renovation and so there was lots of dust. Rooms are only cleaned on demand. The TV only worked on the first of five days, and there was no fridge in the room.

Location is really great, very close to the subway, stores, a mall with supermarkets, pharmacies etc. For me the fitness room was the highlight. Well equipped and spacious. Bed is also comfy.
Overall the facilities are pretty basic. Breakfast is also aggressively okay.
