Very Good
A full continental breakfast with a wide range of options. The staff cleared the tables silently and promptly after they were vacated
A variation of egg other than boiled

Disappointing
Comfortable bed
Noisy plumbing, blocked sink with no plug, no emergency evacuation details in room, stairs not clearly signposted, spiral and steep. Double glazing not sound-proof.

Very Good
Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, simple but with several options. Staff was very helpful and kind.
The rooms are noisy, you can hear next door guests snoring and of course talking. The location is not so good if you arrive by car because is on a steep hill and there is no reserved parking.

Poor
Staff was friendly, location is close to the train station, free breakfast.
It's a ramshackle that's falling apart. While the lobby and breakfast look nice and modern, the actual rooms are in dire need of a renovation.
First impression was that it wasn't cleaned properly, I found layers of dust everywhere (including the electric kettle!), and black mold on the tiles above the bath tub.
Apart from the lacking hygiene, everything in the room was old and in bad shape. The bed was uncomfortable, the mattress too soft, the pillows didn't support my head and as a result, I woke up with backpain and a headache every morning. Add to that that the window didn't close properly, which was probably why I had a sore throat as well. And I can't imagine this being better when the weather outside is even colder.
The door needed to be forced shut because it got stuck in the frame, and the walls are also paper-thin. I could hear people outside my room cough and talk.
Not even the safe was usable. The instructions say you need to press a red button on the inside of the safe, but it was closed...
Breakfast was free, but I didn't try it. I read in other reviews that it was mediocre to bad, so I didn't want to eat it based on the state of the room.
All-in-all, I am very disappointed in my stay, especially considering the high price I paid. This might have been a decent hotel once given by all the awards stuck to the main entrance. However, these days are long past given that the last award is from 2015.

Great that it was just 15 mins from brussels zuid.
They are very happy to store your luggage before and after check-in/out.
We were very lucky and there was a room available straight away, several hours before check-in. Very much appreciated.
Clean and nice room.
Breakfast was very nice with a good selection.
Although close to the train station, it was a little far to walk to the centre. But there are buses and trams if you prefer not to walk.

Wonderful
Warm and friendly reception on arrival.
We were arriving late in the evening and needed a quiet, relaxed hotel near to the train station for our ongoing journey in the morning.
We were given a good recommendation for a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed the pleasant and relaxing lounge area on our return.
None as it was a good experience.
