The hotel is located in a dodgy area with nothing around, yet the prices charged are completely unjustified. It was a nightmare!! The room I was given, right next to the elevator, felt more like a jail cell than a hotel room. Cleanliness was extremely poor—clearly not properly swept or mopped—and the door latch was broken, with the piece literally found on the floor. I couldn't sleep... you can hear every single noise from other rooms... I had someone snoring and making my whole room shake...
Breakfast was chaotic and unacceptable: a very small room packed with over 40 people fighting for stale bread, lining up for cold coffee, with no ventilation. It was impossible to breathe.
The staff themselves were polite and tried their best to help within their limitations. However, they are not magicians, and their kindness alone could not compensate for the hotel’s serious structural, cleanliness, and safety issues. Absolutely horrible!!
The room quality was shocking: two extremely thin twin mattresses pushed together made sleep impossible, the latch was broken, and noise traveled so badly that the room shook from a neighbor snoring. The elevator felt unsafe, the TV didn’t work even after a room change, and breakfast conditions were overcrowded and unhygienic. The pricing feels like a scam for what is offered. The older manager behind his staff just glares at the guests sitting on his desk like a commander Kaid. Even when his female staff was overwhelmed with a line waiting for check in... he barely moved to assist...

Staff is super friendly, because of the early flight we needed early breakfast, so guy in the reception arranged that we would be able to have breakfast at 6 o'clock, even when regular breakfast are from 7 o'clock. Thank you very much for that!
We were able to check in 2 hours earlier, that was a big advantage for us.
Also, we had some issues about payment methods in Brussels shops and bars (because some places didnt accept bank cards), so girl from reception gave us detailed advices what to do.
The rooms are quite big, cosy, warm, and clean. I think they are cleaned every day, but we didn’t want that, as our stay was only for two nights.
A bit loud bathroom/water system, but that is understandable

It was a pretty scary residential area, with many homeless people around and dirty streets. I didn’t dare to come home too late.

Wonderful
Comfortable, well maintained hotel, not far from the midi train station in Brussels. Great breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend for a place that won’t break the budget.
Neighborhood was a little run down, but did not feel unsafe. It’s not in the center of things but easy enough to get into the main areas by bus.

Nice small hotel with good value for money, very nice staff. The location is also fine. I would come here again.
The bathroom was a bit older and far from perfect. It was possible to hear some noise from other rooms and outside, but it wasn't too bad.

Breakfast is complimentary, awesome! It's located on the residential area in the Midi-Zuid staton. There's several laundrymat in the area, ideal for if you need to wash those dirty clothes.
It's 6-7mins Uber/taxi commute to/from Midi-Zuid station. The facility is away from Brussels' Mannaken Pis and plan accordingly if you plan to go downtown.

The staff is really polite and helpful
The furniture creaks and falls apart.
Everything isn't very clean, the room smells so-so. You don't want to touch anything.
There is a teapot, but there is no power socket for it.
There is a safe, but it doesn't work.
An old door with huge gaps and a flimsy lock. You hear everything from the hallway (and all the doors there creak).
The window frame is barely hanging on, and sounds from the street easily penetrate.
Wi-Fi doesn't work more often than it works.
This trash hotel barely deserves 3 stars.

The hotel smells nice (weird thing to say) but it was refreshing especially at the entrance! It’s close to public transport. The room was cleaned everyday and the staff are super friendly - most memorable was Diallo who helped us a lot to settle in.
The breakfast options are too limiting and repetitive (could improve with some intercontinental cuisine options) - on the plus side it helped with reducing holiday calories. Also, the beds are okay but I felt could be improved to feel comfortable.

The location is good, 15 minutes walk from Midi Station. We didn't have any problems in the neighborhood.
The room was cozy, nice, with a large bed, the hot water had good pressure. The hotel has an elevator.
The breakfast was good, served between 7-10 AM, the same everyday, good coffee.
