Warm and friendly reception on arrival.
We were arriving late in the evening and needed a quiet, relaxed hotel near to the train station for our ongoing journey in the morning.
We were given a good recommendation for a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed the pleasant and relaxing lounge area on our return.
None as it was a good experience.

The staff were so helpful and very friendly, the facilities were enough for what we needed and at least clean, plus we arrived 3-4 hours early and we're given access to the room, which was really appreciated and made us feel very welcomed.
The first thing I noticed when entering the hotel was the fragrance. I even mentioned it to the receptionist that it smelt really nice!
The room was an average size. We don't need a huge space but also didn't feel squashed, so most people should find this manageable.
The breakfast was nice enough but fairly basic, so it sits between what we liked and didn't like as it wasn't terrible, but it's nothing to rave about either.
There isn't anything we "didn't like" per se, only things that would be "nice to have's."

A very good stay at Hotel De Fierlant.
It is a 3-star hotel, but it offers excellent value for money. The rooms were comfortable and well insulated, and we slept very well.
I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was good and a great way to start the day.
The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from the city centre, but it is close to a train station and to the stop where you can take the shuttle to Charleroi Airport, which is very convenient.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

The room was superficially cleaned, there was no soap, shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, all the bottles were empty, the breakfast selection was too limited and there was also dry bread that was barely chewable, I think the price and quality of the hotel are absolutely not consistent

Disappointing
We liked the complimentary breakfast, bathtub and how clean the establishment was.
The heating wasn’t working, there was construction above our room that was super loud and obnoxious. We request a single bed and were notified the request would be made, and on arrival our room was twin beds. When we asked for assistance on any of these matters we were met with no help as the employees were inexperienced and weren’t aware of anything.

Nice breakfast, good location, really nice receptionist on the first day
The hotel fire alarm went off in the evening and the man on reception was very unhelpful, didn't explain anything about what was going on, and had it been an emergency, I would not have felt safe with him in charge

Apartment was big and very comfortable. Location was okay, because the metro was quite close and you can also walk to city centre. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

The hotel is very cozy, has its own atmosphere. The lady at the reception greeted us warmly and helped us check in early. The breakfast is basic, but it is enough, and everything is fresh. The room was comfortable, very quiet, but it was not on the road. The location is great, and overall we would come back to this place again.

The 1 room is extremely cold (may be that why I found two blankets in the cabinet), there are not enough snuffs (the tea machine was located in a area that there was no snuff available, so I put it to the floor, near bathroom). In the first day, I asked soap (the two bottles were empty) and it was brought shower gel. The person who cleaned the room forgot the dust cloth on a shelf. Breakfast with a lot of pastries and some eclairs re-warmed. Only boiled egg every day. The door was difficult to open (the key is classic).
