It is a good choice, if you are on a budget. Besides, I noticed many guests on business trips, which means that it’s a good place for them, as well.
One very small elevator. Not many options for breakfast.

It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was nice and plentiful, and the lady at reception was lovely. She even gave us a little pack of chocolates, which was such a nice touch.
There was no car park available, which was a little inconvenient for us

Allowed me to checkin early on the day when I turned up early. Bed was comfy and in general was nice. The room was a good size. In general quite happy with the stay. The window and the view out the window was nice.
Breakfast choice was perhaphs slightly limited for a less native guest. The entire place (corridors/reception/breakfast room) felt quite tighly packed but homely which is nice if you like that feel I guess.
The area felt a little run down/empty but was close to Brussels Zuid which was great.

Very friendly staff, excellent Continental Breakfast. Comfortable room - the fan was a nice addition as the nights were unexpectedly warm. Pleasant outdoor terrace area. Local area also good - definitely recommend visiting the local Patisserie.
Local transport also well worth using - No 48 bus is best for getting into town or to the train station

It has a good breakfast and a very helpful stuff.
Its location is very close to Midi train station of Brugsels but not in a very safe neighborhood.

We were greeted pleasantly at check in. We were early and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage while we explore Brussels a little. The Hotel is in a quiet residential location. Easily accessible by both Tram and Bus. Located a max of 25 minutes from the city centre. We booked for a gig in Forest National, and the venue is extremely easy to travel to by tram. The return trip to the hotel was late at night but was flawless. Tram was easy to get, and the area is safe.
The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. We were facing the street but noise was minimal.
Breakfast was simple, but plentiful and tasty.
The wi-fi was not reliable and probably needs an overhaul.

Disappointing
Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful, giving us a clear rundown of hours and how to reach someone if not at the desk. There's a lovely, comfortable communal area, and the hotel has a lot of genuine character and personality.
At breakfast, my friend picked up two slices of mouldy bread. I took it to reception, staff spoke to each other in French, looked at the bread, looked at me somewhat dismissively, and said "it's ok," with no apology. The bread was eventually changed, but not straight away, and it left me too uneasy to trust anything else on the buffet, so I didn't eat breakfast there on either day, which meant unexpected extra costs for meals elsewhere.
Housekeeping left something to be desired. The hotel makes beds by folding the duvet in half and laying it lengthways, so when we made our own beds properly before heading out, housekeeping's visit later that day effectively undid this rather than servicing the room. The same sheets, which had holes in them, were still there. A blanket and cushion that had been in the room when we arrived were gone (we later found them in a cupboard), and our tea cups had been swapped for clean ones but not restocked with tea or coffee, so we had to go back down to reception. When we asked about the sheets, staff said they only change them on shorter stays if visibly dirty, which didn't really explain what the room visit had achieved.
Two other issues affected our stay. There was no socket near the kettle, so it had to be moved to the bedside cabinet each time to use it. More concerning, the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night at full brightness, waking us both up for no apparent reason.
The lift is old and clunky (the alternative is a stone spiral staircase, not practical with luggage). The walk to the station isn't too long, approx 20 minutes, but it passes through some questionable areas, so on the morning we had our luggage with us, we paid for an Uber instead as it felt safer.
