Very comfortable rooms, great facilities, a good breakfast and friendly staff.
After a long day in Brussels, I returned to my hotel room to find another guest already inside, the staff had made a serious error in their booking system. They were apologetic, and the issue was resolved, but it’s a mistake that shouldn’t happen at all.

Roomy and comfy bed and pillows
Bathroom smelled like urine or smoke, it was gross. Elevator was not working & we had floor 7 (they gave us a credit for problem so that was appreciated!) fire alarm going off at 530 am disrupted my sleep- apparently someone was smoking in their room.

Location
It was very hot , the hotel refused to start air conditioning. One could not open the window properly as we were three people. The open window would hurt the person on the head. We spent 3 uncomfortable nights in hotel Catalonia.

Quick check-in Spanish was understood
The smell was terrible. Before getting to our room the hallway was already smelling terribly. Same for the room horrible smell coming maybe from the bathroom pipes, but seem a general problem. We had to leave the windows open all night to stand the smell. AC was not working, the room was hot besides smelly.

Comfortable rooms at a good rate for Brussels. The room isn't big, but bathroom is surprisingly large and it was fine to accommodate a family of 4 (a kid and a baby)
The AC couldn't be turned on (centralized AC throughout the hotel we were told), but with a warm day out (in April), the room temperature was insufferable. We had to keep the window open throughout the night. I can't imagine how it must be in the summer

Great location if you go to Forest Nationaal. Spacious room and bathroom. Helpful staff.
We were unable to warm up the room, felt quite cold during the night. And unfortunately the AC/heating was noisy, so I was happy to have earplugs with me.
