OK location within walking distance from the city center and close to tram and metro. Large beds and big family room.
Breakfast room was messy. Very small bathroom for a room which sleeps 4 persons.

the fact that they do very late check in (15:00), although the rooms are ready sooner than that, a lot sooner, but they do this to charge for "early" check in. So 59 euros extra just to check-in earlier than 15:00. And when you get there they offer to upgrade the room to a better one for 20 euros. And that room is ready sooner that 15:00. But the room is the same as the one you booked. and the price, way to high for what you get. breakfast could be a little more diversified for what they charge

Super good breakfast. The room was spacious (junior suite). The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a good location, near to the central city.
The floors in the room and the bathroom were very cold without footwear.

Pretty clean, I like the design
The windows were on street side and during the night I could hear a lot of police sirens. The staff didn’t told me about hotel facilities like gym, open hours of the bar and also check out hour. In the lobby some guy from the streets sat for a few hours (who wasn’t a hotel guest) and staff didn’t care.

Everything really. Different. Quirky. Clean. Great view from my window. Comfortable places to sit in reception and bar.
Being old(ish) it was a bit of a hike to the town centre but a stroll through the botanical gardens next door was a good start and Brussels not being that big you can get to quite quickly. And I could have taken buses or the tube but walking is good.

The cleaners took my personal towel (as I don’t use hotels towel).. I asked the staff for brand new towel as a replacement.. but they only gave me some washed already used towels There was no running water for more than half a day bc of some plumbing issues… the communication from the staff was poor regarding how long the fixing might take The hotel rooms were not at all sound proof, during night time we could easily hear our neighbours conversations, their TV, and music.
It was clean. Reasonable price. The fresh water offered in the lobby!
