Pleasant
Brussels was beautiful.
Our room had a single window that looked at the fire escape and another window less than 10 feet away. This felt like little privacy and offered little natural light. It also made the room feel more claustrophobic. I wish I had requested a street view because that would have really improved the stay.

The location is perfect, close to the center and is in the quiet area that I feel safe as well. The hotel also well secured, I didn’t hear any noise from the outside when we rested inside our room.
Just the sink was slightly clogged and slightly dusty but not a huge deal at all.

Room on the 4th floor had a nice view. Same category room in 1st floor was nicer though, as it had a higher ceiling and nice old parquet floor.

Hotel is in a good location. We walked to and from the hotel with our luggage to Brussels Central train station in less than 15 minutes. And it was a less than 10 minutes walk to the Grand Palace square and all the shops/bars/restaurants, Mannekin Piss. It's a basic hotel, basic room, on the smaller side but that was OK as we were just there for one night. We had to leave early so did not partake in the breakfast. The coffee available in the lobby was good. It's a solid hotel for the price.

The hotel was located between the Gare du Sud train station and La Grande Place, and free coffee was offered 24 hours per day.
The breakfast was pretty expensive at 15 Euros per person

Nice big room, rustic/industrial vibe with lovely old wood block flooring. Very comfy bed. Staff were very welcoming.

We had to book last-minute as our other lodging fell through. This place was in a nice central area, within easy walking distance of the Grand Place. The bed was very comfortable, has central heating and air that is very efficient. The free coffee and tea was a nice touch, and the staff was very friendly and available 24/7. I like the tiny take a book/leave a book area as well!
The door to the bathroom is made of see-through glass and does not block out any of the noise of the bathroom, so make sure if you book here that you are traveling with someone you are comfortable with :-)

(+) the bathroom is clean and the location quite close to center
The rooms were not as described. There is a large rack immediately after the entrance, which seems unnecessary and makes the space feel cramped. In some areas of the floor, the parquet is damaged and has sharp edges

It was very near trains and in heart of city centre.
The room felt cramped even for a solo traveler and as some folks mentioned, the area towards the elevator was a bit dark as the light took a few seconds to come on. However, room was tidy.

Had a good stay here. Stayed in the single room and it was fine. Bathroom was just slightly tight, but it was fine.
The one thing I will say was a plus.. the room was super quiet. Had a great night's rest here.
Great location, and it was within a 15/20 min walk to a main train station one way, and about a 10 min walk to a main square nearby and walking distance to other sights.
No complaints.
