The place is exceptionally located for my work commitments in Brussels. It is very clean and the the staff are super helpful. They certainly go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable.
The hotel was going through some refurbs, which mean that the bar was closed. But I understand that it will re-open soon.

Very central location
For the high price I paid, I was expecting at least some more amenities in the room:the slippers missing and other little things. Breakfast Halal, as I am not muslim nor any other religion follower I do not see why Iam offered a 90% halal breakfast, halal salamy , turkey bacon.... I can understand this offered in ME, but Brussel is not yet been declared capitol of an islamic state.

Really friendly and helpful staff! Also really liked the water taps on each floor that gives you cool water. The overall style of the hotel was nice - loved the big plants everywhere and the gold/brass finishings. The bar in the hotel had a good chilled vibe too.
The breakfast: this was not good - the coffee wasn’t drinkable from the machine, I think this needs to be looked at - for a 4* Hôtel you’d expect ok coffee. There was a coffee machine at the bar - maybe just give coffees for free. The food was also not good - e.g. there was no fresh bread to toast only processed sliced bread. I feel the pictures on booking.com were a bit misleading for the breakfast, it was quite disappointing. Even the fried eggs were really greasy and tasted a bit odd. The fresh chopped up fruit and yoghurt was nice though. Apart from the orange which was perhaps cut on the same board as some other vegetable as it tasted strange. The hotel room: this was style over substance. Really cool decor, but the wallpaper in the bathroom really needs to be removed- you can see the mould growing underneath it and you can smell it. The shower itself needs a good clean too. The wooden flooring is nice - just get rid of the rug it’s stained and really uncomfortable under foot. The hairdryer was broken and dirty. The tables also needed dusting (seemed to be dusted on day 3). We had a twin room plus a sofa bed for 3 adults. The twin beds were comfy, but the sofa bed was pretty awful- it had a massive dip in the middle. Luckily my friend can sleep anywhere but it made her back hurt a bit and I wouldn’t recommend it for someone to sleep on. It was a bit too noisy in the room - you can hear doors slamming and other people moving around in their rooms. It’s a bit more noisy than an average hotel I think. It was also noisey because of the emergency vehicles (there’s a fire station or something nearby). I wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers. Perhaps worth looking into the doors closing more lightly (it’s a setting) and also some sound proofing. Location wise it was great to be near the train station but it’s quite far out from the centre, restaurants etc - I don’t think the reviews / description were very clear about this.

The property is modern inside and in a good location to the city centre.
Our room had a window that looked onto a fire escape. The safe did not work and was only fixed by the second night. The aircon also didn’t work well making the small room very hot. The room was not cleaned by the time we returned in the evening.

The smell in the hall and the water fountain
The rooms are TOO small for a 4-start hotel! Moreover, the bathroom was not clean. The facilities on the outside look good but the rooms are really not appropriate for a 4-star hotel. The staff was also not attentive when trying to get help with the bookings.
