Good
The location was very good, breakfast spread was good as well. The staff was friendly and the hotel was beautiful.
Despite booking a bigger room it was very cramped up when the sofa bed was open. The cupboard doors were broken. The furniture really needs to be revamped.

Pleasant
Next to the train station
Parking garage was off premises and hard to access. First room had something stuck to clean sheets and soiled headboard. Second room smelled of mold, third room smelled like sewer gas. Were given same soiled towel three days in a row.

Good
Close to North Train station. Room was excellent with tea and coffee facilities. and a safe. Staff were welcoming but their directions to places were confusing and not always correct. Its located across from the small park that then leads onto the Botanical gardens which are lovely. Food at the onsite restaurant is excellent. Not many decent restaturants around here so recommend eating in the hotel. Not the best area for sightseeing, better staying in the central part of Brussels in my opinion,

Location to train station, location to city center. Cute green garden/park across the street. Clean and comfortable bed. Great rain shower; unlimited water sparkling and still, coffee in room, etc…
Nothing!

The location of the hotel is amazing. Everywhere I wanted to go was really close by and metro line is right next to the hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful!

Wonderful
They did not cancel my booking. My room was ready and I have the privilege to have an early check in.
Wood floors under the carpet have squeaking sounds at some part of the room and corridors.

Great place, good people and service
Using two single beds, as a couple, instead of a queen bad although I requested for it.

This property is located right across from the old botanical Gardens and it’s stunning. I have never seen a better breakfast area in my life. The room was nicely appointed.
The only one grippe I have is that the back doors leading right to the Metro we’re not working or we’re not open so you had to walk around to get there and it would’ve been nice to get right off the metro and get into the hotel

Poor
Location is close to the main sights and there is a metro station right next to the hotel. Breakfast was adequate although overpriced.
Stained towels on multiple occasions, as well as stains and reddish fingerprints on the bathroom doors and the curtains... Soundproofing is also bad, you can hear people walking on the floor above you. This hotel clearly has housekeeping issues and does not meet the expected standards, especially not when you consider the cost per night. Would not return here.

DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Brussels-North train station, only one stop away from Brussels' main airport. The city center and main sightseeing attractions can be reached with a pleasant 20-minute walk, while bus and metro stations located near the hotel provide easy access to public transportation. A shopping mall with a supermarket, food court, and a variety of stores is situated directly across the street. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, and the warm, delicious cookies offered upon arrival made the welcome even more enjoyable.
Guests should be aware that the hotel requires an additional €50-per-night deposit on top of the room rate, payable either by cash or card. Since the building is more than 115 years old, the soundproofing is quite poor, and conversations from neighboring rooms can easily be heard. There was no coffee machine available in the room or on the floor, and coffee at reception was offered only for an extra charge. The room included two empty reusable water bottles, but there were no clear instructions on where they could be refilled, and the minibar was completely empty. In addition, the bathroom lacked basic amenities such as cotton pads, etc., which is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in Europe, especially for a Hilton.

The room was great! We had a fantastic view of the city and the location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance.
The walls of the rooms are not soundproof. Could hear the neighbours on either side of us. Creaking wooden floors.

Wonderful
One of the othe guests decided to have her workout starting at 4am. She was doing "kettle ball slams" which involves slamming the ball as hard as you can to the floor. Our room was next door to the gym. The noise woke me. *slam*.........*slam*.......etc. I heard what was her first set unknowingly. Then after a couple minutes it started again and I realized it was someone working out. I got up, threw on some clothes, and went into the gym. I asked politely, in French, if she could stop. She self-righteously asserted in english that it was *her workout* and *her time* despite me saying the building was shaking with eash *slam* and she was probably waking up the entire hotel.
Nothing really to do with the hotel, but my god, some people...
