Wonderful
I stayed at 9Hotel Chelton twice in one week and had a very positive experience overall. The rooms were clean, spacious, and provided plenty of room for my belongings. The showers were especially impressive giving a modern, spotless, and one of the best features of the hotel.
Breakfast was consistently excellent. The dining area was clean and spacious, the food was served hot, and the selection was plentiful.
Hotel is walking distance to the Parc du Cinquantenaire and its monumental triple arch. Where the Autoworld presents more than 300 vehicles tracing automotive development from the earliest automobiles to racing cars, luxury vehicles, modern sports cars, and Belgian manufacturers such as Minerva, FN, Impéria, and Miesse. Its permanent collection is supplemented by rotating exhibitions devoted to particular eras, manufacturers, and automotive themes. The impressive iron-and-glass exhibition hall itself once hosted automobile and motorcycle shows between 1902 and 1934.
The Parc du Cinquantenaire, also called Jubelpark, was developed for the 1880 National Exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence. Its centerpiece is the enormous triple triumphal arch completed in 1905 and crowned by a bronze quadriga.
The hotel is near the park’s formal gardens, broad walkways, monuments, and sculptures connect several major cultural institutions to include Autoworld Brussels, Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History, Art & History Museum, and Victor Horta’s Pavilion of Human Passions
There were, however, a few drawbacks. Accessing the lobby with multiple pieces of luggage can be difficult. Guests must climb a flight of exterior steps, which may require several trips when arriving by Uber with heavy bags. The lobby doors are not automatic, and there is less than five feet of space between the entrance and the check-in desk, leaving little room to maneuver or place luggage.
The gym was also quite small and offered very limited equipment. During my second stay, I received a fantastic room, but unfortunately, the television did not work.
Despite these concerns, I thoroughly enjoyed both stays and would gladly return. I highly recommend 9Hotel Chelton for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, excellent showers, quality breakfast, and convenient location.

Disappointing
The bed was comfortable. Everything else was quite disappointing.
The overall service was underwhelming. I had several issues with my stay:
- The rooms with a terrace don't actually have a private terrace. I only discovered when I got there that it's shared with other rooms who can very easily see you (so you have no privacy). There are only a few flower beds separating the space, and I couldn't let my dog off leash because he would've easily gone into the other rooms.
- They forgot to refund me my security deposit of 100 euro when I left. I had to call them back myself, days later, to get it done, even though when I checked out they had told me it would be automatic.
- I asked for a late check-out the night before and it was confirmed. The next morning, someone banged on my door accusing me of not checking out on time. I had to explain that I'd done nothing wrong and my late check-out had been registered the night before (which he did admit to later on).
I would likely choose a different hotel next time.

The position was nice and quiet. Very clean and the bee was very comfortable. The outside area was pleasant.
Firstly, I requested lifts to upper floors as steps with heavy suitcases are a problem. When we arrived we are faced with a several steps - out room required an another set of steps from the elevator as well along with steps within the room . I think these areas should be highlighted as we find that very difficult and we were not made aware of this. Yes, the elevator went to our floor but customers need to be made aware of this degree of difficulty.
