The staff were welcoming and friendly and so helpful. They gave us lots of helpful tips on places to eat locally and how to get around the city. We enjoyed our complimentary drinks at the bar. Its an older style hotel with lots of character which we enjoyed.

Exceptional
Our stay was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, so although we had booked a cheaper room, we received a much larger and more comfortable one. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally soft, and I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable it was. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. They spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. Overall, the service was outstanding, and we had a wonderful experience.
The only minor issue was the noise from the street during the evening, although it stopped before bedtime and did not affect our sleep. Also, due to the general situation in Belgium regarding homelessness and safety concerns, I occasionally felt a bit uneasy when outside the hotel. However, this is not a criticism of the property itself. In fact, the hotel is located in one of the calmer and more normal areas of the city, and there are many neighborhoods with much worse conditions in that regard. Compared to other parts of the city, this area felt relatively safe and comfortable. Inside the hotel, I always felt completely secure, and the staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.
I would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful
The location. It was a 20 minute walk to all the tourist place. Starr was helpful and friendly.
I could not get the heater to work in the bathroom. It wasn’t a big deal. I did spoke with staff, however by the time I got back to the room it was late and I was tired.

Wonderful
Our room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of space for storage of luggage and clothes items. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The bathroom was among the largest we have experienced in any hotel. The breakfast was quite good with plenty of food items to choose from.
The towels were rather thin from use but adequate.
A minor communication occurred breakdown at checkin when we were informed about receiving a free beer if we were willing to forgoe daily room cleaning. We agreed with that offer and told the receptionist we did not need daily cleaning and would like to take up the free beer offer. We thought that was settled; however the receptionist did not tell us we still had to put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door each day, which we didn't do. Consequently we did not receive the free beer.
It was not big deal, just a little communication snafu.
The positives of our stay far overshadowed this minor event

Good
- The staff was very friendly and ready to assist.
- Could leave the bagages after checkout and get them once ready to depart.
- The room had a mini refrigerator and a kettle with provision of coffee and tea bags refilled every day.
- The location of the hotel is really bad. It might be close to the station (around 10 minutes by foot) but it's almost impossible to reach it with a luggage, as half of the distance is uphill.
Even without a luggage, is difficult when you return tired after walking around the city for hours.
- There's no safety box.
- Lighting is quite low.

Pleasant
The staff were always responsive and helpful. The breakfast was very well laid out with many choices from hot food to cereal or fruit and several options in between. The location was excellent for my needs, both for my conference and for simple shopping.
The beds were uncomfortable. I was not able to sleep well at all, unfortunately. I won't stay here again because of this.

The room was perfect, the level of cleaniness was top. The staff was super helpful. I loved the location. Definitely worth the money, I would recommend it to everyone. Close to Brussel Central train station and from there everywhere! Even closer to Ixelles street, which is a main market street. Generally, super clean, friendly staff and good location!
Did not taste the breakfast, I think it's expensive at 17 euros per person. It seemed pretty basic though. Avoid paying it, there are tons of brunch options close by.

Location was good. Close to metro but slightly away from the main streets so it was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and warm. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.
It was really warm in my room for December without the heat on. But the door opened up and the fan helped.

Good
Cleanliness: the room was very clean and tidy.
The room was located in a different building and had to actually get out of the lobby and walk outside but the most inconvenient thing was that the windows are very old with no noise isolation making it very hard to rest at night. You could hear every car and group of people partying nearby.

Wonderful
The room was neat well equipped with an Ac for the hot weather, had a hot water kettle. The persons at the reception were nice and helpful to provide additional coffee and cream supplies as well as water bottle on request. They have a nice seating area to relax and work when room is not ready or have checked out. Location is good - is a 20-30 min walk to the Grand place and areas with restaurants. and to the metro stations.
Nothing really but the bathroom could have some hangers for the towels/clothes
