Hotel itself + Staff were great!
Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this hotel. The hotel itself and the staff working there was all great. Unfortunately, they either got hacked or somebody from the hotel staff is leaking information. A few days after I booked this hotel, I started receiving messages on my Whatsapp with my name, phone, date of when I am staying - Phishing... Now random people are also pinging me on Viber because of it. Country from the numbers is Indonisia....

Exceptional
First of all, I have to thank the receptionist who changed my room, as my experience, review, and rating would have been completely different if I had stayed in the first room offered. There is no comparison between the two rooms - 451 vs 708. The location is very good, about an 8-minute walk from Grand Place and 20 minutes from Gare du Midi, in a quiet area. The staff was very kind, both at reception and at the luggage room. The room I received after the change (708) was perfect. Small, but renovated and clean, with a very comfortable bed. It had everything I needed, including working A/C and hot water. I even had a nice view from the 7th floor overlooking the Brussels Ferris wheel. Check-out is at 12:00, which is also very convenient. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future and hope to receive the same room.
I had no issues with the new room, everything was perfect! However, if I had stayed in the first room (451), the situation would have been completely different. The room looked very bad, had an unpleasant smell, lacked natural light, and did not feel comfortable or trustworthy. It felt quite old, had a view of the inner courtyard, and the bed was placed right next to the bathroom wall.

They had a data breach and leaked customer information. I kept receiving highly convincing phishing messages that included my name and my specific stay dates, asking me to click on links. Even though they were aware of the situation, they failed to provide any prior warning. If I were less tech-savvy, scammers could have easily stolen my money. Furthermore, my booking specified a double bed, but there wasn't one when I entered the room. When I questioned why the information was incorrect, they refused to admit their mistake. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Location was great, Room was huge which was perfect and the front desk staff were excellent. We arrived early and the hotel let us check in early.
