Im sure when this hotel was first opened all mod cons were available...it was clean with a very white bedding and comfortable bed. There is a coffee machine and kettle with tea , coffee and sugar..the towels were clean and there was liquid soap...the room itself is pleasent and is in a very good position near the metro.
I think the worst thing was the very steep stairs and we at 70plus had to cling onto the metal rail which was very shaky at the top..there is no fire escape ! however there was a fire bottle outside the door.I do feel sorry for the cleaner who has to climb up with bedding and cleaning tools. There is now no breakfast available..but we were able to use the microwave in the kitchen area...no central heating but electric fires...we had one silly ripped net curtain up at the window which needed two and the legs were missing off a tub chair which made it far too low to sit in..and the tv didnt work even though there were 3 remotes...we did ring the owner but gave up trying to get it to work...we wouldnt stay again sorry.

Cleanliness
No bathroom door, absolute shocking experience as bathroom can be seen straightaway from all corners of room No signboards available on property, can't locate the B&B properly as it is somewhere in middle of narrow street. No reception, sometimes people respond on whatsapp , sometimes they dont, Good ways to job cuts but should have been prompt on calls or whatsapp, they never answer calls.

Pleasant
Room is large and spacious. The interior is nice.
The specified room and floor were incorrect, as there were already people staying there. We had to contact the hotel representative to resolve this issue. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep, making it impossible to carry suitcases upstairs. They have to be left downstairs in the common area. The bathroom has no door, and there is no glass partition separating it from the room either.

We had to LEAVE the accommodation 2.5hrs after checking in at 4pm. There was NO HEATING. The wall heater (electrical) kept tripping out, making alarm sounds. The portable heater was not working adequately. The room A/C was switched on, with no way of turning that off. So, it was freezing cold outside and inside. I tried to contact B&B BE on the number made available via Bookings.com (+320268112200; +3211260980; +3226456111). None of these contact numbers were useful. They just shunted me from one number to the next. I contacted B&B BE via the WhatsApp site and that was just as useless. The person replying, asked 'were you able to get the heating to work?' I explained the problem, we tried and I am not an electrical engineer. B&B BE response to me was 'so you would rather sleep in the cold instead of solving the problem'. This was at 20:26hrs. Nobody came to sort the problem out and there was no support phone call. We had to find alternative accommodation at Hotel la Dome. MY advice to fellow travellers is to AVOID B&B BE hotel/accommodation in Brussels and anywhere this company runs accommodation. They will take your money, give you sub-standard, ill-equipped accommodation and your complaints will NEVER be addressed. I would like to add the the complaints I raised with Booking.com about B&B BE accommodation also fell on deaf ears. Bookings.com is just as culpable for advertising this place on their platform. This place is NOT for purpose.

I have escalated the complaint to the company on Saturday, I have had no redress. I have asked for a refund and that I cannot see happening. So, please please please AVOID this place fellow travellers.

Everything. From the room to the location, to the coffee and biscuits in the tea room. We loved the location of the B&B, right next to a Christmas market with a local pub on the corner.
Nothing. We stayed for 3 nights and would stay here again.

The location was great, and the room was a good size. The bed was comfortable.
Once we entered the property, the lights in the main area and first stair case were off (I had to use my phone torch to see). We expected stairs, but the stairs were incredibly steep and narrow; getting luggage up was a challenge. There were no instructions for the heater in our room (that kept turning itself off initially....we worked it out), and the TV didn't work (remote didn't work, and no channels on the TV). Our bed wasn't made properly - the fitted sheet was only attached on two corners of the bed. Communication with the owner was poor - I asked a couple of questions prior to our stay which were never answered, and we messaged about the tv during our stay; this was also ignored. We did receive an email about their suggested brunch spots, the day before we left. The common room downstairs was freezing cold, and not inviting. The heater wouldn't work. We warmed some meals up in the microwave a couple of nights, with the initial intention of eating them at the table - it was very unpleasant because of the temperature, I wouldn't have wanted to sit down there for breakfast either.

Large comfortable room with beautiful new looking bathroom. Easy location to find and although we did not have breakfast there seemed to be a nice coffee/tea area. Nice and dark room and quiet
Could do with new towels - all ripped and no hand towels. Apart from that it was great.

Very convenient location, close to the action in Brussels. The apartment had everything you need and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice too.
The steps are tricky especially if you’re older and have bad knees. It’s hard to get your luggage up them but that’s Europe and old buildings.

Wonderful
Very clean and well kept. Lots of little munchies around to have. The room was a nice size and comfortable to be in for down time.
There is no elevator and stairs get narrower as you climb. Can be difficult with luggage. But, it does add to the uniqueness of our stay. Kind of double edged sword. Staff was great in emailing suggestions on what to do or where to eat. On answering questions not so good. Wifi and TV converter not working, sent 2 emails and no response. Could have been better that way. Not the end of the world but just a little annoying. The good still outweighs the bad.

Very responsive staff when messaged. Clean and comfortable. Good location close to restaurants, bars, and attractions.
Could not open the windows for air ventilation. Had an air conditioning machine (rare to have one in Europe), but it was a bit noisy.

There is no lift and I was on the third floor the stairs gets narrower and more awkward the higher you go. I had to carry my 20kg suitcase all the way up by myself which was incredibly difficult and not unsafe and I slipped several times. When I was checking out, I asked for help to carry my bag down, but the staff said no. I had to carry it down myself and ended up dropping the suitcase on my toe which was extremely painful. This is very dangerous and future fiesta should be warned about this. Also the shower turned freezing cold half way through my shower. When I told the staff, they just said, "Thanks for letting us know" no apology or follow-up. They didn’t really care about the inconvenience.
