The Art de Sejours is a wonderful B&B in a great location. Mario, our host, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. When we needed help/guidance about the pending train workers' strike, Mario took the initiative to look into train schedules for us. Mario is a one-person operation--does the cooking (delicious breakfast), cleaning, reservations, greets each guest with a "sit-down" orientation to the area and explains points of interest/restaurants with a tailored map of Brussels, helps with luggage, demonstrates how the in-room coffee machine operates, helps with programming the in-room safe, etc. No stone unturned to help! The inn itself is a work of art (no pun intended); Mario bought the place, gutted it, and totally rebuilt it (mostly by himself). The detail and craftsmanship is impressive! The place also is pristine clean. Towels and amenities were refreshed each day as well. Our room was on the 1st floor and, although there is an elevator, it required either getting off on "1" and walking up a flight of narrow steps or getting off on "2" and walking down a flight of narrow steps--not a problem for us, but could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay; highly recommend!

Everything. Excellent location.
We had one evening when the neighbour decided to play some very very loud music. This lasted a few hours but did stop by nine o’clock and never happened again.

Very clean and spacious , tasteful design , quality breakfast . Location was perfect
Heating in the bathroom starts manually with a button and stops after 30’. I would prefer a more permanent heating system for absolute comfort. It was ok however.

We were greeted on arrival with everything we needed - map, recommendations, etc. Mario is an exceptional host. Breakfast was made to order and superb, and he graciously accommodated requests to eat early . The room was re-supplied daily with towels, beverages, and treats. The room was spacious and contemporary, and the bed was quite comfortable.
There is nothing we didn’t like. Every detail was thoughtful, even the front door being painted red so it was easy to locate when returning. Due to the building design, not every room is on the same level as an elevator stop. If stairs are an issue, simply ask for one of the rooms that has direct access to the elevator.

Mario was an excellent host. Always very obliging- even making us food to take on the train to Berlin. Our room was excellent - very comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel was easy walking distance to the Christmas market in Grand Place and other markets. Perfect.
