Pleasant
Convenient location in the city, public parking nearby, many restaurant opportunities nearby. Breakfast Ok as for business trip for a reasonable price.
Small room, loud corridor and door alarms, few electrical sockets. Price for second night 3x the price of the first one was unclear at booking

Disappointing
There was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom.
The sound of people next door would come through so easily, specially from the bathroom.
Too many stairs.
One tacky, old and small elevator which you still had to take several stairs to get to.
Awful.

Wonderful
I booked the small single room. There was plenty of space for my needs. It was bright, airy, and clean. There was an electrical outlet to charge my iPhone at night and the WiFi was fine. The breakfast buffet was good. The water is fine for drinking or filling your water bottle. It is a good location. The staff was cheerful. There were two pillows on the bed, two different sizes.
I do not remember hooks for clothing on the walls in either the room or the bathroom area. The bed covering was a heavy comforter, without a top sheet, as is very common now. I like to have a top sheet, because sometimes the heavy comforter get too hot at night. Only on Saturday night, I could feel the vibrations from nearby discos and racing cars, but with ear plugs this was not a problem. Every other night was quiet. I hit my head on the wall mounted television several times, because it was over the luggage cradle.

The location was great and the breakfast was nice. My particular room was a bit outdated with poor natural light, but it was spacious. The staff at the reception and at the breakfast were friendly and helpful.
See above. All in all the room also could have been more clean.

Very Poor
Location, close to metro. A lot of shops nearby.
Not clean. Layout of the room is strange. Small. You have to go to the basement to take the elevator which is not convenient if you have a big luggage.

The family room had actually 2 rooms and normal beds with mattresses for everyone (and not some convertible sofas) so our kids could sleep in a separate room. We stayed in several hotels during our vacation in France and Belgium but only in Argus we had such a spacious family room.
The bathroom was pretty old and needed renovation. Besides there were not enough hooks or racks for towels.

Wonderful
Centrally located literally 2 mins walking from The Hotel, Brussels. I did not have breakfast there but cakes, chocopies etc., differeent types of coffee and lemonated water are available 24 hours for free. My single room was small but good, toilet was clean, with good housekeeping. Overall, I liked the place.
Nothing specific.

Disappointing
The only positive thing was the location. Not too far from the main road.
Breakfast bread was okay.
The staff was very confused.
The hotel itself was in an old building, the elevator was decrepit. The rooms small and reek of the toilet. The toilet was a disaster, it was moudly, smelly and dirty. The bed was okay, but the pillow was so smelly could not use it.

Disappointing
The hotel offers water with lemon, coffee and some snacks in the lobby. The receptionist is nice and welcoming.
The rooms seemed functional, the AC was working. But it was clearly visible that the furniture, the bedding, etc. have all been there and used for a very long time. And it seems like they went for the cheapest options at the time and did not make many improvements over the years. It was mostly clean in the main areas but when you looked into the corners, you could see dust that was not wiped for weeks.
The location is perhaps good from the point of view of how close it is to the metro station. But the problem is that the entrance to the hotel is from a small road on the slope that is packed with parked cars and has a very narrow sidewalk. It looks OK in the pictures but it is not very practical nor welcoming, in my opinion.
There are hotels which cost roughly the same but have much nicer facilities, rooms, lobby, etc. I would probably only consider staing here again if I was given a very good price deal.

The hotel is truly in a great location — the metro and many important landmarks are within walking distance.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — they’re simply the best!
When the taxi stopped on a different street, one of the staff members actually walked with me to show exactly where it was parked — I was running late for my flight, and she truly went out of her way to help.
I’m really grateful for her kindness and support — that kind of care makes all the difference when you’re traveling.

Staff people were nice and supportive; cleanliness of the room was Ok
It was very noisy after 11pm and I couldn't sleep during any of the four nights: The elevator and room doors were slammed loudly by the guests! And on the last night there was some big noise problem on the floor until 1am! Maybe drunk guests who were slamming, screaming, chasing each other – I don't know what they were doing yet! I understand that we - the guests - are rude, but the hotel management needs to take measures. For example, provide a mechanism on the elevator door that doesn't allow slamming; warn guests about their doors, etc.

It has an incredible location close to the Louise metro station. Nice neighborhood in general. Staff is really helpful and friendly. You should taste the candy in the lobby :) and also they offer free umbrellas , you need to return them though, in general good for solo travelers.
Rooms are the smallest I’ve stayed so far, elevator is tiny might be a problem if you have big luggages. Rooms have almost no noise isolation so I hear people sometimes in the middle of the night. But they were no trouble for me since I needed a good price / performance stay for my trip.

Pleasant
LOCATION.
The location might be great, but don’t expect any privacy. The cleaner has a master key and can barge into your room whenever they feel like it—yes, even when it’s occupied. Apparently, locked doors mean nothing here.
I've stayed in several properties but I faced such a thing for the first time in my life. Its a serious invasion of privacy.
When we reported this to the person on the front desk, they responded in a very casual tone saying "He was just making sure all rooms are clean". REALY?!

Exceptional
Excellent location! 2 metro stations in 3-5 minutes walk. On foot to the historical center and to the central railway station of Brussels 15-20 minutes walk (or by metro - to any station). Around a huge number of cafes, restaurants and shops, including grocery stores. The hotel staff are very nice, helpful young people, to whom you can turn with any question or problem and they will definitely help to solve it. When you are greeted with a smile - it provides a good mood for the whole day. Breakfasts are very good from the freshest products, very tasty and varied. We got a large spacious room with a window overlooking the inner courtyard. With the window closed at night - perfect silence. The room has an individual new air conditioner, a kettle, a small refrigerator. 2 beds with excellent comfortable mattresses and pillows. The only thing that may not suit everyone is the internal structure of the building. Even with an elevator, you still need to overcome a small number of steps up and down inside the building. This did not bother us at all. Daily cleaning of the room. We liked everything very much! We will be happy to come back again!
May be more electrical sockets in the room and TV channels in English

Very Good
This hotel is just great value for money. All the staff is very pleasant and helpful. We left out luggage with them several hours before the check-in time without trouble or additional charge.
You get complimentary tea and coffee in the price of the room, and they even have umbrellas for the guests that you can grab when going out!
Out room was small but comfortable. The bed was nice and there was even an electric kettle.
There is no heater in the bathroom, so it can get a bit cold in there.
