Exceptional
This place is in a perfect location, especially if you like me travelled by train. Just across the street from Brussels Midi and close to tram, bus and metro stops. A lot of attractions are also within walking distance :-) As soon as you walk in through the front door, you'll feel more than welcomed and comfortable. The service is out-standing and the fact that the breakfast is included is a big bonus. Fresh bread and extras are provided daily and to your door so no set time for breakfast as you'd normally get with other hotels. Another bonus is that it is so blissfully quiet, a nice place to relax and unwind.
I have no complains as such.

We loved our stay at Aparthotel Midi Residence. The location was perfect, just 1 block from Gare du Midi and very convenient to walk to the main attractions and public transportation if you need to go farther away. The apartment itself is very well equipped. Most breakfast items were already in the fridge when we arrived and the next morning Arthur left some fresh bread and fruit in a box by the door. We look forward to staying at Midi Residence again!!

Great location, near Gare de Midi, huge room with 3 beds at first floor. The self-served breakfast in the room was fantastic and the fact that you could take it whenever you wake up was a big plus for me.
Prices are going crazy in Brussels IMHO. The location does not have a reception, the owner is waiting for you, so you may not arrive after 22.

Perfect location near the South station which serves greatly when using the Metro to explore the city or to reach your business locations such as EU premises, Spacious room, convenient and spacious bed, small kitchen with the typical equipment that one needs for small cooking activities (coffee machine, micro wave, induction stove with pan and pot for your eggs in the morning). The breakfast service is as others have it already described many times: In the morning the host delivers bread roles and others edibles (like puff pastry pieces or muffins or fruit etc.) at your room door, throughout the day the fridge will be refilled (with ham and cheese packages, milk, water, and other things for a substantial breakfast). The fridge in our room had also a freezer where you can store some ice-cream if you just came back from Spain and liked the idea of finishing your breakfast with ice-cream ... The building is one of those typical Brussels houses, i.e. a small, rather ancient house with small staircases, and to reach the (three) rooms you must take the staircases. It was no problem for us, but be prepared that it is not barrier free, and if you have two suitcases you most likely need to bring them to your room one after the other. The bowl of sweets at the foot of the staircase, however, is an incentive ;-)
The room (at least our) may deserve 1-2 armchairs for reading a book as it was spacious and cozy enough to remain a while and read a book or two, and specifically for us, despite having TV channels in French or Flemish and few in English, some German channels would have been appreciated.

Arthur, the host, was an outstanding resource of information and travel assistance.
More hooks for hanging towels, clothing, etc. A corner table in the kitchen area for storing bath items and personal items would be helpful, since the was insufficient space in the shower area.

Close to MIDI/Zunis train station (5 minute walk), no sound from the trains, apartment was clean, cool and quiet. There was fresh bread and fruit brought to the room in the morning to add to the cheeses, ham, eggs, tin fish, and preserves already in the fridge - very very nice

The apartment is very close to the train station yet still walkable to the city centre. The host welcomed us and provided a lovely selection of food for breakfast. Fresh rolls were delivered to our door in the morning. This was our second stay here.

amazing property. Immaculate apartments, right by the train. it doesnt get better then this. Artur greeted us, showed us the room and amenities. amazing bonus, he fully stocks the fridge with waters, cheese, milk, ham, eggs, butterand delivers fresh bread and fruit to your door each morning. we also came back to a clean room, dishes put away. coffee. Artur let me use the washing machine and dryer and I did three loadswas amazing because we had been traveling a week.
With the amenities and cleanliness and value of the apartment, you are not in a good neighborhood, but at night you take a taxi home.
