Pleasant
The rooms are really nice and comfy, the hotel is really close to the city and the train station but there is barely any noise so it’s nice and quiet at night and in the morning when you wake up. The sauna is really good and so is the pool.
Breakfast is a bit rubbish, there is only the same options every day and the portion sizes are not the best. The staff at the front desk were overall decent, however the shower in my room fell out of the ceiling just minutes after I had gotten out, so I went down to reception to be told I would receive a refund for the damage to our room. However after going back home and emailing the hotel to see where my refund was I was told I would not be getting a refund and that the information I was told was incorrect and they refused to give me a refund for the damage.

Disappointing
Central Location in quiet street (but then not too quiet during the day coz vicinity of high school)
We had a duplex, but the facilities were poor and unconfortable
-1. Swimming pool ridiclously cold water !!!
-2. No hand wash facility (no tap) in toilet. Had to go upstairs to bathroom to wash hands. That is a no go !!
-3. I worked during the day on my laptop, but the table for working was in the bedroom and not downstairs.
-4. It was noisy during school hours, as adjecent to a highschool. If we had known that.
-5. The floor was damaged and looked scruffy (also in the toilet)

Too remote from central area for female travelling alone. Arrived to hotel and waited 10 minutes for somebody to appear at reception. No sign to say they would be back in 5/10 minutes or bell to ring. Phone not connected in room and lots of tea however no English tea. Would not stay again.

Very Good
The location was excellent for getting around the city, for the Saturday antique market/antique shops and centres and for some really nice places to eat. Loved that the hotel had a pool and sauna, especially after walking and sightseeing all day. Convenient for two train stations, Chapelle and Central.

Location of the hotel was good and the beds were very comfy.
Very noisy hotel at night could hear everyone coming and going from their rooms and chairs scraping the floor. The bedding was dirty upon check in - house keeping did change this when requested. The spa facilities were extremely small and poorly maintained the pool was cold and only two lounges in the spa area with no space to place personal belongings. We booked this hotel to use the spa facilities and were extremely disappointed. The rooms had a thick layer of dust around the skirting boards and showed lots of wear and tear with paint scratch off the doors and walls.

Friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room with the daily housekeeping most welcome.. The quietness of the area helped us have restful sleep. The pool and sauna were a nice addition.. Plenty of options at breakfast with the diy waffle maker and the ability to boil your own eggs nice novelties.
There were some flies in the kitchen near to open food including the fruit.
