Staff was lovely, location was great, bed was wonderful. Only caveat -- the toilet was in a separate room across the bedroom from the rest of the bathroom (sink/shower). We found this arrangement awkward for using the facility and washing up afterwards.
As mentioned, the schism between toilet and sink. Shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water, but the area just outside the shower needed something to reduce slipperiness since it inevitably gets wet. Perhaps some nonskid spots or a rubber mat would fix.

Tiny room - so overpriced!
No ordinary tea bags either in the room or at breakfast
We went to the pool in the evening about 7pm on both evenings - no clean towels and overflowing dirty towel basket
Coffee machine in reception was broken (they did put a small replacement machine that evening - but no ordinary tea bags or milk again
Breakfast was ok (fortunately we only eat very little at breakfast)....but definitely not what you expect from a 4* hotel. Not much choice - not enough food for the amount of people staying at the hotel and items did not get replenished.

We liked the friendly staff. We enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks, and my kids specially enjoyed the hot chocolate. The pool and sauna were amazing.
We had the suite. Appreciated that it has 2 bathroom but the powder room didn’t have a sink to wash your hand, we had to walk up the stairs to wash our hands. The shower leaked a lot of water out of the shower glass.

The location was good, kinda private and we liked that. The pool and the sauna were little, but very private and lovely if there happened to not be many people at once. The room was quite spacious and would say comfortable.
The toilet door was not working properly. It had many scratches around the key area and it was not possible to lock the door. However we were offered an apology since it wasn't possible for a room change for our whole stay.

The location was great and central to town, trains and restaurants and the Sunday antique market.
The hydro therapy pool was awesome, really cool and therapeutic on weary muscles pulling luggage?
The staff were great helping us check in early and get settled in

Too remote from central area for female travelling alone. Arrived to hotel and waited 10 minutes for somebody to appear at reception. No sign to say they would be back in 5/10 minutes or bell to ring. Phone not connected in room and lots of tea however no English tea. Would not stay again.

Very Good
The location was excellent for getting around the city, for the Saturday antique market/antique shops and centres and for some really nice places to eat. Loved that the hotel had a pool and sauna, especially after walking and sightseeing all day. Convenient for two train stations, Chapelle and Central.
The pool was cold ? and some of the jets didn't work.
