Once built as a private mansion in 1869 and later in the hands of bankers, this magnificent 19th-century classical building has been renovated and converted into the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage. The hotel is just 165 ft from the market square and has free Wi-Fi. The Heritage Hotel offers its guests elegant, stylish rooms, all characterized by individual decoration, and nice soft furnishings with well furnished bathrooms. An iPad is available in each room. The house has a 14th-century old cellar with special arches, of which stones are now displayed at the museum of the archaeological society. Guests can enjoy regional dishes in the hotel's restaurant. Cozy restaurants, interesting museums, elegant shops and romantic carriages that take you through the city are only at walking distance. Boat rides on Brugge's famous canals show you the hidden corners of the city. The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage has a pleasant and welcoming lounge with bar. A splendid buffet breakfast is served in the charming 1869 room, which reflects the glorious past of the house.

Very Good
Good location, fantastic staff, beautiful public rooms, excellent secure parking next door. Fabulous beds - so comfortable
Terrible light controls in the room, competing background music in the dining room at breakfast, a tired breakfast offering. Air conditioning controls in the room too complicated.

Wonderful
Nice property but even better amazing staff who goes out of their way to help and make your stay better. Reception is wonderful and old school service which is very rated these days .
Hard to say as the hotel is old with a modern touch and it’s Brugge. Room service menu could be better but it’s a wonderful place. Especially for couples

Loved the location and atmosphere of the hotel. Every restaurant or bar recommendation had been personally experienced by the family members that own the hotel.
The street noise runs late. I recommend a pair of earplugs if noise keeps you awake at night.

The service was super - everything so comfortable intimate and personal.
Maybe they need to update their gym equipment. Or add a bench and a few extra dumbbells

Disappointing
Staff are excellent at reception and at Breakfast. The breakfast was very good. Location superb.
The whole building is tired. Furnishings in the bedroom are old, worn and frayed. The art is dreadful.

Very Good
The 4th floor was really hot with weak air conditioning. The cafe machine never worked even after it was checked. Mini fridge was shut off and all bottles in it were hot. This was an upgrade, but not sure about that except for larger space. I must say the evening person on duty, Nathan, “saved the day”as he fixed the refrigerator and replaced all items with cold ones and he came up to attend to the A/C. Nathan was so professional, attentive and kind and really tried to accommodate me. He made that hotel for me.
