Very Good
The hotel was very central. We asked for a quiet room and this was provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is very much in keeping with the character of the old town. The rate was good value for money, We can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have that at the hotel
There was nothing that we didn't like.

Beautiful location overlooking a canal and close to the center of town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the auir conditioning was strong (I was visiting during a heatwave). The hotel decor was charmingly eclectic.
Parking was several blocks away and carrying luggae through cobblestone streets wasn't the most fun.

The hotel was wonderful - the interior was beautiful, the room clean, tidy and comfortable. The location was also brilliant - just a couple of streets back from the main tourist spots so it was calm and quiet, but an easy walk to all the action. Frederik, on reception provided wonderful service. We had issues getting to Bruges due to train delays, but Frederik was great to communicate with as we sorted out the impact on our room booking. It was great being able to leave our bags at the hotel after we checked out so we could continue to walk around Bruges without heavy bags. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges.
There is nothing I would have changed about our visit to Martin's Relais Hotel.

Perfectly located, comfortable hotel in an old building. Attentive and caring staff. Very good breakfast with searched table cloths and napkins. All attractions reachable by foot.
All was good

Beautiful, historic property in a great location, a short walk from the main square.
Breakfast, in a beautiful, beamed room with canal views, was excellent. The breakfast staff, in particular the one main lady (Clara?), were welcoming, friendly and extremely professional, ensuring all tables were cleared and reset swiftly and efficiently. The hot food, pastries, cereals, and cold meats and cheeses were always in plentiful supply
The building is old, unfortunately so is the wiring - not in a dangerous way, but only 3 power outlets in the room, two of which were on the other side of the room to the bed. There are zero USB sockets.
If you go, take long charging cables.
This was the only grumble.

Wonderful
Everything but the stairs leading down to our room. The AC worked very well. The whole place is nostalgic and grand. Staff was courteous and helpful. Parking space was available.
We booked here mainly because it had an elevator. Then we were given a room with descending stairs to get to it, and stairs to step down into the room and stairs to step down to the floor of the room.
the elevator didn't go to our room. That's the only complaint, it's a beautiful hotel otherwise.

Wonderful
I like the most is the room is really clean and cozy. The location is also perfectly situated near the main tourist spots. Also, since the bus route passes through that location, you can get off nearby.
I will definitely recommend this property.
The room in this hotel is well maintained, only one I noticed was when I am in certain parts of the room like near the window, I feel itchy - could it be a tick or bedbug bite? So don’t go near the window

Very spacious room on the upper floor.
The room had a big bath but no separate shower. Only way to have a shower was to kneel in the bath and use the showerhose. Difficult to do this without flooding the bathroom.
