We arrived in the evening and it was a beautiful walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is charming. Excellent breakfast.
No fan in the bathroom.

Great location, superbly renovated property, staff are incredibly kind! They speak 5+ languages, it was mindblowing to see.
The room felt royal like, antique furniture pieces hiding modern appliances, very clever repurposing.
Gave us little treats which were a nice touch.
Bathroom felt a little dated, no shower curtain or screen so to have a shower in the bath you had to kneel down. But still, very big size so didn't really matter!

Great location, and the atmosphere of the old tavern like building is really what you want in the city like Brugge. Atmosphere the red carpet the exposed wood is an important part of the experience. Super friendly staff and great breakfast.

Great location in a quiet spot of the city but close enough to the centre. Breakfast had a lot of great choice
I liked the charm and style of the bedrooms
Beds on the top floor weren’t the most comfortable, we had to ask for housekeeping and they didn’t do a great job with cleaning the room. Seems short staffed

Very nice hotel. Staff was wonderful. Breakfasts excellent. Very helpful in suggesting places to see, to eat, to have drinks. Lovely old building right on a canal.

Breakfast was quite elaborate. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice.
No kettle in the room. No lifts since it's a heritage building. The receptionist could have been more polite (although she did help bring my suitcase up). The canal view is overrated. You spend a lot of time in the city near the canals anyway. Could be a bit cheaper.

Great spacious rooms in a beautiful historic building with excellent amenities. Quiet location, yet only a 7–10 minute walk to the city centre. Breakfast was extensive, and the staff were very welcoming. Loved the cookies and chocolates on arrival and departure. Small but sufficient fitness area for a short stay.
The only downsides were the lack of nearby parking, no swimming pool, and the broken bathtub floor which was uncomfortable.
