The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was a traditional European breakfast. We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel being within walking distance to all the main attractions. The staff were friendly,polite and helpful.

We were upgraded to the main hotel which was fabulous. The room was a good size with a great view overlooking the back garden. The location was excellent and so close to everything. The service in the bar and at the front desk was excellent. It was a bit exciting to be staying in a old palace.

Location, look and feel of the hotel was fabulous, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, great selection
Nothing to dislike. Initially the room was too warm and heating kicked in during the night. However we were able to adjust to a comfortable temperature quickly.

We were fortunate to be upgraded from the Dukes Palace Residence to the main hotel. The room was quiet and very comfortable and the lounge bar had a lovely atmosphere.
The only modest complaint was a shower over the bath, which is challenging to enter and exit!
