Location was great. Lovely breakfast.
Room was not soundproof and adjacent room door was hinged just behind our bed - very noisy each time someone entered/left.

Perfect location, decent breakfast, helpful staff, clean rooms and an elevator :-)
We took the family room, which was larger than we expected
A bit expensive, but that is the case for all of Brogue

Great hotel in a perfect central location. The rooms were very clean and cleaned every day. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
The only downside was that there was no drinking water provided in the room. Overall, highly recommended!

Our room was spacious and comfortable, in a beautiful building and well located in the center of Bruges. You can easily wander out from here and it was easy to get a bus from the station. The breakfast was also nice.
No travel cots available despite the fact it says so in their FAQs on booking.com, and then in the welcome booklet in the room, so I don't think they're very good at updating information.
There was also a rule about not being able to eat or drink any food/drink bought off-site in our room, which we found strange when the hotel doesn't serve any food outside of breakfast. We were travelling with a one year old, so spent our evenings in the room and would have appreciated being able to have some snacks!

The room was great. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff members in the dining area were very friendly and made sure everything was refilled.
The bathroom was narrow and do was the shower.

We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Jacobs in Bruges and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city.
The location is fantastic — tucked away in a quiet area just a short stroll from the centre, which meant we could easily explore all the main sights while still enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep. It felt like the perfect balance of convenience and calm.
The hotel itself has a charming, traditional feel, full of character and warmth. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made a big difference after a day of walking around Bruges.
What really stood out, though, was the friendly and welcoming staff. They were always helpful, happy to offer recommendations, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast was another highlight — a great selection with something for everyone, fresh and well-presented, and a lovely way to start the day.
Overall, Hotel Jacobs offers excellent value for money, combining comfort, location, and genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bruges.

Wonderful
Very quite location and accessible location. 10min walk to center. Family room was great as the kids didn't need to sleep sofa! The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was also delicious with fresh bread and croissants.
Parking around the hotel is a bit tricky. The shower head is only raining from the ceiling and floors were a bit slippery.

Very Good
Good location near to a bus stop for buses from and to the railway station. Comfortable bed.
The very comfortable king size bed took up almost all of the room, leaving very little room to manouevre around it.

It was within walking distance to everything. It as like a home away from home.
For some reason on one occasion there was no hot water in the room. But it was only for a couple of hours so it was no problem. Also it would be good to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Breakfast was good, the Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood and the price is warranted. I had a room in the third floor with a nice view and I slept excellent. Staff was professional, freindly and multi-lingual to a mind-boggling degree.
I can imagine that loud and unruly guests could have meddled with my sleeping but it is to be excpected in an old and beautiful building. It is not completely soundproof, so I would recommend bringing precautionary earplugs in any case but again, I slept very well

Nice rooms with all necessary equipment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location, not far from the very city center.
The shower head was fixed on the ceiling. But they provide the shower caps, so it wasn't a real problem.
