This hotel is located in the center of medieval Bruges, just a 5-minute walk from the Market Square with the Belfry of Bruges. The Groeninge Museum is 3 minutes away and the shopping district is within 1640 feet. Parking is possible at 'Zilverpand', located at a distance of 984 feet. Each individually decorated room comes with a TV and some of the units have Wi-Fi access. All rooms have a private bathroom which is fitted with either a shower or a bath. Breakfast is served each morning. It consists of pastries, eggs, and bacon. Cava is also served during breakfast. There is a courtyard where guests can relax. From Hotel Het Gheestelic Hof, it is an 11-minute walk to Bruges Railway Station. Zeebrugge and Blankenberge's seaside resorts are a 20-minute drive. Superb location right next to the city centre, this hotel is not fancy but it does all the important things very well. In particular the breakfast was outstanding, the room was kept very clean and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend it.
It wasn't a problem for us but it is a traditional building with a lot of stairs so take care if you have restricted mobility.

The hotel was in a good location, close enough to the downtown area where we wanted to be. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station. The service during check-in and check-out was customer friendly and very efficient. The hotel and room was clean. It was very charming to see the authentic elements in this hotel.
I overlooked that there was no elevator in this hotel, so we had to carry out luggage up a couple stairs. It was okay for us since we travel light, but please take note of this in case you travel with a lot of luggage. But this is more advice for people travelling and not necessarily an improvement point for the hotel. One possible point that would have enhanced our experience at this hotel: it would have been nice to have a couple more pillows, or at least thicker ones.

Staff was very kind
They have a energy save system that makes anything turns off about every 2 min, was horrible because you can’t take even a shower and the lights (the room was dark and needed light) turned of, the water got cold.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building, so invariably comes with smaller rooms, uneven steps etc etc. But see past that and it’s a perfect place to stay from which to explore Bruges. Location is brilliant, the staff super helpful, the breakfast varied and tasty. All really great, and we’d definitely return.
