Beautiful building and convenient to the shopping areas. Room was spacious and comfortable
I’d totally stay there again but know that the Gym doesn’t have anything over 10kg for dumbbells. You may have to walk outside to get from the hotel entrance/lobby to your room. Breakfast is crazy overpriced. $50/person

We have stayed here before and were delighted to be welcomed back as loyal guests with a nice message and box of choccies. The hotel is magnificent and the rooms are amazing, so huge and clean and wonderful. The bed was big enough for an entire family of six and super comfy. Everything is spotless and lovely, an absolute true 5 star.
It could have been cheaper but I guess you get what you pay for right!

Beautiful building in a central location. We were lucky to be upgraded when we arrived to a large room with a peaceful garden view. Bed was comfortable and room had everything we needed. Great base to explore Bruges and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing hotel in a beautiful old building. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The hotel staff is excellent. The hotel breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. It even has chocolate, of course. It is very quiet at night which lends to a very restful stay.
The price of the breakfast seemed excessive at €38.

Disappointing
We loved Bruges, but our hotel experience was very disappointing.
While room service was fast and the hotel atmosphere was nice, the rest of the stay was uncomfortable and frustrating. We were forced to upgrade to a different room category because we were traveling with our 4-year-old child, supposedly due to “safety and policy” reasons. We don’t mind paying extra for comfort — but in this case, we paid more and felt less comfortable.
The room itself felt unsafe and impractical. It had slippery stairs, and I fell and got bruised, which affected my entire stay. I was constantly worried about my child falling as well. The bathroom being upstairs made things even more inconvenient, especially at night.
Valet and parking were chargeable, which is understandable, but the extra fees just to park the car were unreasonable.
Some staff members were very friendly, but unfortunately others made us feel unwelcome.
Bruges is beautiful, but sadly this hotel did not meet expectations.

This was one of our best experiencies in our trips. An excellent place to stay: comfortable, clean, super friendly staff, great location. We would try to repeat if we go again to Brugge.
We would recommend to put two bottles of water and more gel/shampoo per person per day.
Even if these are minor commodities, it definitively facilitate the stay.

I really liked the hotel, it looks incredible, fabulous in winter. Excellent breakfast, delicious snacks and sparkling wine, very polite staff, pleasant atmosphere inside. The room was large, all the amenities are there, the view is beautiful to the garden
The room was cool, the climate control could not regulate the temperature, I would like more choice of dishes for breakfast

We had a great stay at Duke's Palace. It's very centrally located, very short walk to main square. The hotel itself and its grounds are beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the castle section so the room was a bit oddly shaped but we found it fun and it worked out perfectly.
