Beautiful, character, perfect location, cleanliness was perfect and nice staff. Breakfast was extensive and delicious.
The staff were slow or not attentive enough at breakfast and we waited outside in the evening for a cocktails and never got served (waited over 30 minutes).
The beds were uncomfortable and and a little dated. There is a glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom - not ideal if staying with friends or co-workers. A spa for hotel guest use or other features would have been wonderful.

It was a beautiful property. Well appointed.
I was unhappy with staff training and question cleanliness of the room. I am a former hotel inspector so I know my stuff. Plastic bits (from housekeeping) in the corridor for days - promises to make up our room “next” - staff reciting the same mantra about breakfast 4 days running - then getting ticked off on checkout that I should have complained sooner was the crowning glory. Nice hotel shame the young staff just don’t have a clue about ‘service’

Beautiful building with history. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was great as well. Walkable to everything in the city. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet immensely. Very large, fresh buffet with something for everyone.

Staying at Hotel Dukes' Palace feels like stepping back into Burgundian royalty. The 15th-century former residence of the aristocracy is breathtaking, combining grand historic architecture with modern five-star comfort.
The hotel sits right in the heart of historic Bruges, just a short walk from the Markt and major sights, yet it remains wonderfully quiet tucked away in a peaceful spot.
Every staff member provided gracious, polite, and attentive service from check-in to housekeeping.
The morning spread is phenomenal, offering a huge variety of hot and cold items, fresh pastries, and sparkling wine.
The 3,000 m² private garden and terrace offer a peaceful escape after a busy day of sightseeing.
Overall, it is a magnificent base for exploring Bruges, and we would gladly return.
Our room was spacious and clean, though the shower temperature fluctuated slightly. Parts of the main building carry that older, historic layout charm, but be sure to request a room away from any potential rear or pavilion noise areas.

We loved its impressive architecture and that it is well located to stops and the main square. We loved the well curated lawns and the flow of the communal spaces as well as the helpful attentive staff! The breakfast was a treat!
