The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Old Bruges. Spent two days walking the sights.
Room was huge and directly overlooked the canal, stunning views!
The midges/mosquitos - be aware you're right on the canal, take insect repellent. Not the fault of the hotel. Cannot find anything negative to say about it.

Central location, spacious room, biker friendly and lovely breakfast
The central location is excellent after arrival but navigating central Bruges was challenging meaning it took us some to reach the hotel, map apps were not very helpful due to the dynamic road closures in town.

Triple A location, right in the centre, very close to all points of attraction. Comfortable and quiet room.
Hotel is in the old building, so the stairs are narrow and steep while elevator was behaving erratically.

The location couldn't have been better. We really liked the bar in the crypt. Excellent bar man, so very friendly. Air con was ideal in the unseasonably very hot weather.

Gorgeous view - we were literally in everyone’s instagram photos!! We got the room my husband has been hankering over!!

I arrived at the hotel during afternoon in the sweltering 34 deg C heat and could not find the air-con remote in the room, despite being powered with the green light illuminated. I went to reception and was informed that air-con was not included as I had selected a budget room (I thought not particularly a budget price at 115.00 GBP, room only) The guy behind reception begrudgingly gave me a remote control adding that it "probably won't work"......and he was somewhat correct, it hardly did!......no refrigerator either and surprise surprise, no bottled water and towels akin to hessian sacks. On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised to find at least that the bed was furnished with a blanket and pillow

Very Good
1. The hotel's location was excellent. We walked everywhere, as it is centrally located in the historic city.
2. Breakfast was abundant and varied. The breakfast room faces a canal with its swimming swans, ducks, and boats, which is beautiful and peaceful in itself.
3. Wi-fi was excellent.
4. Staff was delightful and accommodating.
Perhaps it would be a bonus if the hotel could offer lunch and dinner in the future.
