Lovely small hotel right in the heart of Bruges. Staff all delightful. Rooms well furnished and equipped.
I know this is random, but we had been travelling for 10 days staying in various hotels, this was the first place we’d stayed that had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in separate containers. I was moaning everywhere else about all purpose detergents that seem to have become the norm. Lovely not to have an itchy scalp!
Would definitely stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Botaniek! It’s a charming little hotel in a quiet location, yet only a short walk from the centre of Bruges. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious.
What we especially appreciated was the warm and personal service. Everything was easy and well organised, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay.
A lovely place to stay when visiting Bruges. We would definitely come back!

The reception from the owner was amazing. He made us feel very welcome and was very attentive to all our needs. Check in was easy with good information and they were very accommodating for check out time. The location was perfect right in the middle of old town Bruge. The property is being refurbished by the new owners and will be amazing when finished. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious!

Great location a block or two back from the main tourist areas. A lovely quiet neighbourhood with wine bars and good restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is a boutique, beautifully decorated older building with nice quirky details. Breakfast was delicious and morning staff charming. Self check-in was made easy with WhatsApp messaging. Very helpful team who were responsive to our queries.

Such a cozy and exquisite place, which was a great pleasure to stay in. It felt as if we were staying at a friend's house, yet with much more privacy. It was like being in a home (not a hotel) while being located right in the historical part of the city. The Wi-Fi was good, and the breakfast was nice. The staff were immensely warm. There were a lot of live plants around, which was adorable, and the cleanliness was impeccable.

The location - SO close to the city centre but unbelievably quiet at night.
The beds - very comfy and the best pillows of the holiday!
The staff - beyond friendly and helpful
No car park at the hotel - but I expect this is the case for the majority of accommodation in Bruges and the public car park was only a couple of mins walk away
No air con but two effective fans were provided and large windows could be opened

- beautiful and stylish interior,
- location (quiet street, but close to everything),
- the pleasant and friendly women who served breakfast,
- breakfast was... fine
- an old building with creaky floors and doors and poor soundproofing.
We had bad luck with noisy neighbours, and our first night was ruined;
- MOSQUITOES (!!!)
I was prepared for the lack of AC, it was not hot, and you could sleep with the windows open. But this zzzz every time... There was a spray in the room, but it only worked for a couple of hours. A then again...
- Not clean enough.
The fans and ventilation grilles in the room were very dirty, unpleasant to look at. And there were mold stains on the bathroom wall.

Loved the location, the easy check in, breakfast and the room facilities.
It was a heatwave and the room was very hot. We had fans which we appreciated, but it is not air conditioned so did get a bit sweaty.
