Very Good
This was a lovely hotel in an excellent location. It was in a quiet area with little to no street noise, but an easy walk to many locations around Bruges. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was a nice variety of options and had something for everyone. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable.
The bathroom was extremely small.

Charming hotel, Easy to find and great location. Very clean, beds were comfy and cozy. I cannot say enough about the breakfast, so above and beyond all expectations. The going away cookies were yummy. You outdid yourselves.
Everything was great.

Wonderful
Bed mattress very comfortable.
Very good location, closed to the centre while quiet area.
Very good breakfast, many choices
Staff very friendly, offered us a map and many explanation on what to see in Bruges on arrival.
Nostalgic decoration which differs from other hotels.
Lights on the head board of the bed are a nuisance if one wants to sit on the bed.
If breakfast room is full it may be a bit tight between tables.

We were greeted by Nicola, who was friendly, knowledgeable, personable and very very welcoming. I thought it was her boutique hotel, as she was so attentive. She made us feel very welcome in our home away from home for our four night stay. The hotel was clean, perfectly located and it felt “right” staying in such a quaint beautiful hotel.
The rooms are smaller, which worked for us as we had hand luggage, however if I’d travelled with a checked suitcase (or two one each guest) you’d struggle for space. Again, that didn’t affect us but I could see that being a problem for others. Outside of that, I had no complaints.

Wonderful
The hotel is very close to the main relevant places of Bruges, just a few minutes walk. Has elevator and nice style overall. Breakfast was very good.
Price of breakfast on the high side, the size of the bathroom very small

Wonderful
Great location. Close to walk to all the sites. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Nichol. Good internet. Some good restaurants very close by. Bed very comfortable. Lots of plugs in the room. We in junior suite 305 and liked that 3 separate rooms for toiletries, one sink and bathtub with handheld shower, one toilet and one shower. Bedroom had 2 chairs for sitting. There is an elevator.

Poor
Location was great.
Nicole. Plain and simple one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. Offended everyone in our party within the first 5 minutes and continued to insult us until we checked out. Breakfast was very overpriced.
We asked to purchase bottled water, she told us to drink out of the tap. Ummm nope.

Location is terrific. Tucked in a quiet corner and close to all the historic areas. This hotel was a delight from the moment we walked in. Althea was amazing in taking great care of us. Breakfast was superb, the best of our 3 week trip. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet.
Nothing. Everything was 5 star.

From entering the front door the experience at the hotel was phenomenal. The staff were so helpful and gracious. The room was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. I recommend the breakfast at least one morning! It was delicious and very reasonably priced. Lastly, the location was ideal as it was slightly off the beaten path to make it quite but an easy walking distance to the Christmas markets and most attractions and is right next to a main bus station to get to the train station or the hotel staff will call/schedule a taxi for you!!
