Exceptional
All around an excellent hotel with no complaints. Our family room cost a bit of money other than that we liked the room, the AC, the vast breakfast options and the location from the train station (12 minute walk) as well as location within the old town for easy access to everything Bruges.
I did get a message via WhatsApp regarding this hotel booking that appeared to be a scam/phishing attempt. This was confirmed by the hotel as not legitimate. It included specific details of my stay at this hotel. I have had many bookings via booking.com and never had this occur so I assume the breach is on the hotel side. I would exercise cyber caution if you receive a WhatsApp message from the 'hotel'.

Very Good
Good location for walking around Bruges. An excellent breakfast. We were able to sit outside with comfortable chairs and service provided by the hotel. Parking was available but at a cost.
Unfortunately we stayed at a time of very high temperatures and the air con was not sufficient to cope with the heat. In mitigation we were given another room for one night where the air con was working well.

This is a really beautiful hotel and the staff were fabulous. The breakfast was memorable. Location was great especially with a car. A hotel in keeping with the beautiful historic town of Brugge. We really love our stay here and highly recommend!

Pleasant
The courtyard, bar and reception.
I don't believe the decor and rooms were up to the standard expected of a 4 star hotel. The bathroom appeared poorly finished and could benefit from better maintenance. Breakfast was served in a basement dining area that felt stuffy and unwelcoming, which made the experience less enjoyable.

Wonderful
I was scheduled to stay for one night but on entering the foyer I immediately liked the property. I mentioned that I was booked to stay with another property within the Group for the duration of my visit to Bruges, and asked if I could stay with Dukes Arches. They accommodated my request and arranged the switch.

Wonderful
Friendly helpful staff, good -sized room. The breakfast choices were excellent. There was something for everyone.
In fact, probably the best breakfast I have had in any hotel.
The location was excellent. Only a few minutes walk from the main attractions.
My wife said the tea was a bit weak but apart from that everything else was fine.
Stock Yorkshire tea instead as this is stronger than what the hotel supplied although I might be a
little over critical as many Europeans probably do not drink tea.
