Phenomenal location, walking distance to anything in Bruges. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Almost everything was fantastic. There was an odour in the little en-suite toilet.

Such the perfect location to explore the town and parking too. Amazing breakfast.
A bit tricky to find by car. Very confusing road lay out.

Absolutely Fantastic Location
if I had to be critical, I think the bedrooms lack a little panache, The pillows on the beds were too small - and the aircon a bit noisy and inefficient/ineffective

Disappointing
Disappointing stay at Hotel Acacia in Bruges
The location is probably the only real advantage of this hotel — it is just a 4-minute walk from the central square. Unfortunately, our experience had several significant issues.
1. Parking is unnecessarily complicated
First, you have to arrive at the hotel and go to reception to get instructions on where and how to park, as well as a key for the parking area. The street in front of the hotel is very narrow, so you will most likely have to stop on the pavement while getting the instructions, blocking pedestrians in the process.
The instructions are given verbally, with the location pointed out on a paper map. When I asked whether they could show me the location on Google Maps, I was told that this was not possible.
To reach the parking area, you have to drive through a pedestrian zone with a lot of foot traffic, so this can be quite stressful. The parking entrance itself is also very steep, and getting in could be problematic with a low-clearance car.
There is another important detail: after returning to reception, you are given a QR code and have to complete a form and provide proof of your hotel reservation. This is apparently necessary to avoid receiving a fine from the city for driving through the pedestrian zone. Be aware of this before arriving.
2. The room
We were given a ground-floor room with windows directly facing the street. The room is so low that part of it is practically at street level. You have to keep the curtains closed most of the time to prevent passers-by from looking directly into the room.
There was also a noticeable sewer smell, particularly in the bathroom.
The bathroom drain was also very slow — the water drained poorly and accumulated while using the shower.
There are very few power outlets — only three in the entire room. None are located next to the bedside tables, and all three outlets were already occupied.
There is no coffee machine, only a kettle.

Central location and car park facilities were our priority when selecting this hotel. Town Square is just around the corner, with all restaurants and bars to explore. It was our first visit, but soon after, we stayed at this hotel with our friends. And again it was perfect. We got rooms which share the same terrace.

Wonderful
Great location. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom.
Air conditioning was over ridden to 22 Celsius overnight. Warmer than we are used too. Would have slept better cooler…

The location was near to alll the shops, main square.
To book the parking, when you book the hotel, as the parking is very limited.

Exceptional
- place almost in absolute center, but yet very quiet street
- the beds were great, and having in mind the quiet street the sleep was perfect
- hotel has luxury feeling. they could put as many rooms as possible, but they rather have nice lobby and hotel bar
- friendly staff
- hard to find something, but maybe the shower head could get replaced. but thats rather non significant

Great location. Room was super comfy with good bed, nice bathroom and separate toilet. Reception got me a cab back to the train station on check out which was very handy.
Nothing major. Couldnt check in early (but hotel allowed me to store bags). Had to return to reception as they accidently forgot to issue me me room key.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location was central, next to the main square and in the old town.
We parked in an underground car park for a reasonable charge.
Nothing negative to say.
