We loved the hotel location and the room was incredible. We splurged and got the Penthouse and it was a beautiful and incredible room. When we come back to Bruges we will 100% use this hotel again.

Secure bicycle parking had contacted hotel to inform them we were arriving on a Tandem Bicycle. We were unable to fit the Tandem in the facility

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are first class, kind,friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and homely and tasteful which was a welcome change from the faceless hotel chains. We felt at home instantly and will definitely return.

We stayed in the spacious room 17 that was very quiet and had direct access to the patio that we could enjoy during the nice weather. The hotel is also very well located at a short walk to the historic centre at the same time that it provided parking without having to drive to the historical centre. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for all tastes. The cherry on the cake is helpful and friendly staff, in special Julius and Dani.

Good location. Decent breakfast. It had a pool.
We booked a family room and it was run down with peeling wallpaper / chipped paint. On the second day I walked into the bathroom to water flooding through the ceiling. We didn’t make a fuss - just notified the staff and had to pack up and move to two separate / smaller / lower grade rooms which were on the same floor but different corridors. Again we didn’t complain - these things happen - but I had expected to get either (a) some help moving our things (b) some small gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience caused to us and (c) an offer to refund the price difference. I waited until check out for any gesture or confirmation of a refund and nothing. I queried it and why I was being charged for a more expensive room and was told the manager wasn’t there and it would be dealt with by email after we had left. I had to email myself and was told I would receive £50 back. I thought this was really poor and pointed out I had two small children who I had to pack up and move / split my whole family up and they hadn’t even offered us a free drink or any acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Customer service matters. Would not recommend.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds.
Pool was very basic, very dirty and poorly maintained. Staff were very cold and gruff, I had booked parking and had email confirmation from them but when I arrived they told me they didn’t have space and advised me to park half a kilometre away. There was no apologies at all. We arrived a couple of hours later than our original arrival time but still had to wait an hour for our room to be ready circa 5/6pm. Quite a poor experience and certainly won’t be returning.
