Lovely hotel, wonderful location for visiting Bruges. It is right on the edge of the old town and pedestrian area so you are close to everything, but you can still drive into their parking garage, which is great! Breakfast was wonderful and the staff at breakfast were outstanding, going beyond the norm to make sure we were happy. We have been to Bruges several times previously and always stayed at a lovely hotel just around the corner, but decided to try the Crown Plaza for a change and were very happy with our choice.

Excellent location, good sized clean rooms, helpful staff and pool/sauna.
Only two small pieces of feedback:
1. Pool was too cold for winter so couldn’t swim in it.
2. Many of the plates for the breakfast buffet service were dirty (had egg stuck to them). I went through about 3-4 each time in order to get a clean plate.

Great location, well-appointed rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast.
The hotel was quite expensive and I would have expected more attention to detail. There were cleaning carts and dirty dishes standing around in the hallways and cleaning staff sitting on the floor. Lamp shades crooked on walls etc.

Perfect location for exploring Bruges. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We're past the age where old stone steps leading to a room, or rooms on the third floor with no elevator are charming. Having a modern hotel right in the historic district was a boon.
