Very Good
We had a lovely stay at Mieke’s house, she is a lovely helpful lady who recommended sights for us to visit and made us feel very welcomed. The house is located just 10 minutes walk from our the main square in a quiet area with walks by the canal and nearby marina. A perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast was great with eggs, cheese, cold meat, jams, fruit, cereals, bread and toast and lovely coffee which set us up for the day. Thoroughly recommended, thank you Mieke.

Everything. It was just what we needed. Quieter than the city centre, but just an easy walk to get there. Mieke was a fantastic host, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was just right, and with a nice view. Very good breakfast - plenty to eat and different every day.

Very Good
Very nice and cosy bed and breakfast. It’s 15 minutes walking from Bruges city centre/Markt. Mieke, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very big and it had a washbasin, the bathroom was outside of this room but for our use only. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too flat and small for our taste. Nevertheless, the place is absolutely recommendable, good value. Breakfast was very nice, selection of cheese, ham, jam and butter, some fruit pieces, amazing bread and rolls, coffee, tea, muesli and cereal. There is free parking outside Bruges. Just opposite the B&B, on the other side of the river there is parking available, but it was full so we didn’t park there but we parked in a P & R (Park and ride) at about 20 mins walking from the B&B, P & R Boogschutterslaan. It may seem far but it’s a nice walk or you can leave your stuff at the B&B, drive to the P&R and start your visit from there, also about 15/20 minutes from Markt.
I absolutely recommend B&B Waterside, will definitely stay here in our next visit to Bruges.
Just the pillows were too flat and small and there was no toiletries whatsoever, not even some soap for us to use in the washbasin in the room or in the shower.

Wonderful
Mieke was a great host. We got a map and many useful tips what to see or where to eat. The room was clean, the breakfast very good and it is not far from the town centre. We got "home" by walking each day and we enjoyed Brugges and our stay very much. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful
The host was very kind and helpful, room superclean and breakfast delicious.
Although we were there as a pair, it was a bit unconfy to share a toilet just in the room (without no wall and doors).

Mieke was very friendly and happy to assist with useful local information. Good variety of breakfast food provided as well as tea as desired throughout the stay
A fuller mattress and pillows would have added to the experience but bed was not uncomfortable.

Nice location
The room is very small and there is no separated room for the toalet and the shower - they are straight inside the room, unshielded, just in front of the bed!!!
Acceptable enough for a single person, perhaps, but not for a couple!
