Huis ´T Schaep is a restored 17th-century building only 1969 feet from the Grote Markt and Belfort in the center of Bruges. It features free Wi-Fi and a secluded terrace. This grade I listed building, which used to be the home of the stained-glass artist Samuel Coucke, ´T Schaep offers unique rooms with original features and antique furniture. Huis ´T Schaep is a 10-minute walk from the Beguinage. The Groeninge Museum is just over 5 minutes’ walk away. The center of Ghent is only 40 minutes away by car. The B&B is located less than a 5-minute walk from the main car park in Bruges. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast consisting of a selection of bread rolls, croissants and pastries as well as warm boiled eggs. It also features freshly pressed fruit juice and fresh fruit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Huis ’t Schaep. From the very beginning, we especially appreciated the warm and personal hospitality of the owners. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us great tips and recommendations for exploring Bruges, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The place is beautifully designed and very clean, and our room was huge, unique, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with a big and very comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed the breakfast - it was delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. The location was perfect as well, right in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back!

The property was very charming and comfortable. Our room was wonderful and very clean. The bed was a little soft for me; however, my husband loved it. The location was great. Was a wonderful stay and we would definitely book there again.
We loved everything about this property; however, the stairs to the 3rd floor were steep and not for someone who has mobility issues.

The brothers John and Michael are extraordinarily gracious and helpful hosts. The facilities, in a beautifully renovated Brugges home, are so very tasteful and top notch in every respect. Breakfast was varied, made-to-order and thoroughly enjoyable.

Greeted by friendly owner who helped with luggage and showed us around the amazing place. Breakfast is delicious and includes fresh squeezed orange juice. The breakfast room is so cool! Our guest room looked like something out of a castle. Close to main attractions.

The property was beautiful. It was well located and offered a tranquility. Michael and team were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Breakfast was superb with many delicious and plentiful choices. We had great access to the hotel throughout our stay. Michael provided lots of local information including routes around Bruges and where to eat. Our room was well appointed and the bathroom was spacious. A mini fridge in the room was a welcome addition for keeping our water cool. An honesty bar was also available in the dining room. An exceptional place to stay!

Stunning property, in a wonderful location, in the centre but in a very quiet street. This is a historical building and the house and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. Michael is an incredibly attentive host and gives the best restaurant recommendations. Staying here is a real treat, it’s one of the most beautiful B&Bs I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended!
